Hi everyone and Welcome to My Lucy Collection. I have been collecting I Love Lucy items for as long as I can remember and I am still searching for more :)
I don't remember how old I was when I first started watching I Love Lucy, but my mom said I loved it right away, and since then have been stuck on it and I wouldnt have it any other way!
I think out of all the stuff I have collected my favorite possessions would be the ILL series that took me 3 years to tape, I kept missing the same episode, Too Many Crooks, each time it was on. But I finally got it and whenever I am not feeling well, or just down, I pop a tape in and feel instantly better.
Lucille Ball had a way of making the unbelievable very believable and in watching not only I Love Lucy but her movies and other series you can see how wonderful an actress she was. The wide-eyed stares and honest belief in what she was doing made it real, and no matter who she was being, herself or Lucy Ricardo or one of the many other roles she portrayed, she was a one of a kind that will never be matched.
