• Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar may have dropped out of the upcoming film Harvard Man, according to the Dark Horizons Web site. Quoting an unnamed source, the site reported that Gellar pulled out of the film because of script problems and scheduling conflicts with Buffy. Gellar was reportedly going to spend her summer hiatus in Toronto, playing a college professor who falls in love with a student, the site reported.
• Sarah Michelle Gellar is said to be looking at joining the Cletis Tout project with Tim Allen and Christian Slater, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film, which will be helmed by Chris Ver Wiel from his own script, will tell the story of an escaped prisoner who assumes the identity of a dead man named Cletis Tout. He soon learns that he has picked the wrong named since Tout has a hitman out to get him.
• Sarah Michelle Gellar will star in a dramatic thriller for Village Roadshow and Warner Bros. called The It Girl. According to Variety, Andrew Fleming (Dick, The Craft) is on board the production to write and direct the project. The film which will tell the story of a young girl who, out of nowhere, manages to enter high society, endearing herself to the upper crust there and falling in love with its most eligible bachelor. Plans are to start productionon the pic in Early June.
• According the Stone Temple Pilots Network website, stonetemplepilots.org, SMG will be in the upcoming video for the song "Sour Girl." The single for the song is set to begin airing on radios April 3, with the video to follow it. It will also be featured in an episode of MTV's "Making the Video."
• Maybelline's latest recruit, Sarah Michelle Gellar, has followed up her original ad for the company (for Express Makeup 3 - In 1.) • Artisan Entertainment is close to purchasing a spec script called "Allison" intending it as a starring vehicle for Sarah Michelle Gellar according to Variety. The script, written by Brian King, is described as being in a Hitchcock vein telling the story of a young college girl who attempts to get out of financial debt only to fall into "a set of terrifying circumstances." Gellar is said to be in advanced negotiations on the property. AMG and Greg Silverman will produce. **Haven't heard any news about this in a while**
• Apparently Brit group Hepburn has just flown over to America to re-shoot the video to their Top 10 UK hit "I Quit". The new video will star Sarah, and the group will be seen performing the song on the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" as well!
• Sarah makes an appearence in Bree Sharp's music video, "David Duchovny" along with other celebs. In this video, SMG is lip-synching "I'm going to kill Scully" while wielding a knife 'pyscho' style.
