The unofficial Darkwing Duck Fanclub was started around 1997 by Freckles who ran the Darkwing Duck Diary page and Message Board. What started out as a small image to add to your website remains a small image to add to your website. Freckles disappeared a few years ago leaving us with the image and an under construction link. Another member took on the task of maintaining the message board and I became guardian of the image and inadvertantly world president of the fanclub. There is a subdivision of the club in Australia where Thlayli-rah retains title of fan club president of the southern hemisphere.

We remain an unofficial fan club b/c no one desires to go through the legal hassle w/ Disney to become official. So there are no meetings, no elections, no membership fees, but there is a nifty little image you can post to tell the world 'I care'.

You have a webpage but it's in no way related to DW? That's ok! You have a site but don't want to put it on the front page? That's ok! You don't have a webpage? That's ok too! Anyone who has enough fondness for the show or any of it's characters to want to be a member can join.

This club has been in suspended animation (no pun intended) for a while but there's been a sudden resurgence of interest in DWD; maybe its b/c of Toon Disney or all of us 20-something's getting nostalgic. In any case if there is any interest in having more here such as holiday e-cards, badges, or polls on favorite episodes let me know. ^_^
