murky waters of sin
Entangled by deceit
and unable to swim

kicking and screaming
Fluids of
destruction fill my lungs
Choking upon
death, reality sets in
Evil grins as the
flames of hell lick their lips
Fear
unspeakable arises into my heart
My mind
is dark
A flash of LIGHT envelops my
soul
Arms of PEACE reach down from
above
LOVE removes the shackles of
bondage
FORGIVENESS resuscitates my
spirit
PATIENCE and GENTLENESS hold my
hands and raise me up
KINDNESS cleanses me
with JOY
RIGHTEOUSNESS steps in and robes
me in white
TRUTH enters, and sits upon
the throne
GRACE begins to sing, and the
others join in
"PRAISE, HONOR, AND GLORY
TO THE KING"
I fall to my knees, forgiven
of my sin
