Flyers hold onto lead, win 4-3! Very, very exciting and nailbiting game! McGillis had a heck of a game with a goal and two assists. Gagne scored from the blueline (correct me if I'm wrong, I was listening on the radio) just as he was going off on a line change.

McGillis lasers a shot through in OT; Flyers win 3-2!!!! Recchi, Gagne and McGillis scored!!! Flyers got a short handed goal, their first of the yr and have to work on their PP. Cechmanek was awesome, but I think Boosh should play next game.

Gagne, Williams score twice, Primeau scores in 5-3 win!!!!!! Boosh was awesome, Primeau set up some nice plays and added a goal of his own!

Flyers win sixth straight; 3-1... WOOOHOOO! tomorrow when we're all seated around a turkey eating dinner we can discuss this awesome flyers game. Cechmanek was awesome! Gagne, Langkow and Recchi scored!!!!! I'm just so proud!!

Flyers loose 1-0.... aghhh! The chances the FLyers had!!! The chances!!!! it just rips my little soul!!! We had like, a wide open net on at least TWO occasions and we could NOT convert!!!! gahhh!!!! Well, no worries, no worries, we'll just beat the crap outta the Coyotes on Sunday... yes, yes...all will be good then......

Flyers loose 2-1!!!! Three words... OH MY GOD!!! I was going nuts! Sean Burke is NOT I repeat NOT that good fo a golaie! We had about 40 shots on net and only ONE went in!!!!! Jody Hull scored the lone goal.

12/10 VS ISLES
Flyers WIN 5-2 with new coach behind the bench... Craig Ramsay was "relieved of his duties" yesterday morning as Bob Clarke so gently put it. Now how come that's hard for me to believe? Maybe because of what he did to Brindy? (and all the others) No, the scenerio I imagine is this: Ramsay goes down to his office only to find his stuff in a box waiting outside the door and the locks changed. There probably was a letter or something taped to the door. Bill Barber was announced new head coach. Which is cool, because I think Barber can mold the team into a Stanley Cup contender this year. Anyway, onto the game... the Isle's net minder was no stranger to Flyers fans. It was our little Beezer. I feel bad for him cuz he's on a really sucky team, but anywho... the flyers even got a goal on their struggling PP and Desjardins scored ending a long goaless drought. So did Peter White, who we all remeber was one that lead Barber's Phantoms to the Calder Cup. In short, Good Luck, Billy!

Flyers tie 4-4... with every goal the Flyers scored, the Bruins had an answer for it. That's basically the outlime of this game.

FLYERS STEAL A WIN 4-3... at one point, the FLyers were leading 3-1, but then scored 3 yes, count them 3 PP goals. What a great game!
12/23 VS HURRICANES
Barber's winning era countinues in OT 2-1! McGillis blasted a laser by Irbe in the closing seconds of OT. Both Tocchet and White were struck in the face with pucks in the third period. Tocchet was hit in the cheek and White was bleeding from his nose. Both they hope make a speedy recovery!!!

Streak Ends as Flyers fall 4-3. The Lightning were winning 3-1 in the early stages of the game, but we battled back, but unfortunately fell short. Boucher looked very unsteady.

Flyers loose 6-3. Now, I know what you're probably all thinking. Why oh why did we give up 6 goals to the Caps? Well, chicadees, two of these goals were empty netters. Still, that's four goals too many for my liking.

Flyers, Devils tie 1-1. Boy, what a game this one was! I think our Phantoms call up, PJ Stock deserves a round of applause. He pissed off those devils and fought those stinkin devils all night long!

People, hide your children cuz this one made my blood boil... ok, Flyers came out hitting hard in the first and scored 4 beautiful goals. In the second, they scored another and at the end of the period, it was 5-1. BUT IN THE THIRD, ohhhh in the third... the little birdies scored 4 times!!! 4 friggin times! Our damn defense fell asleep! Luckily, Recchi scored an empty netter and the final was 6-4. Tomorrow night, these two teams play in Philly and I should HOPE that our D wakes up a little in the third, please!
1/6 VS THRASHERS
This one ends in a tie, 2-2. Flyers had a 4-3 advantage during the OT but just couldn't get it by Roades. The Flyers also hit two posts during the course of this game. It was a heck of an effort though and the boys in orange and black battled behind from a 2-0 defecit.
1/8 @BLUES Philly makes St. Louis sing the blues as the score comes out 2-1 Flyers in OT. Well, Keith Primeau who has the work ethic of Brindy scored both goals. He had a heck of a game. i didn't see the whole game because I went to watch the St. Francisville Experiment with my dad. Scared the crap outta me. Oh well, tonight I go back to my dorm room! Toodles!

Oh what a night! FLYERS climb to FIRST in ATLANTIC Division, GAGNE gets 100th Point! In just his second year in the NHL and at the young age of 20, Simon Gagne already has 100 points. He completed the task this evening against the Thrashers, banking in two goals. The Flyers steam rolled the birds all through the game and came out with the stunning victory, 5-1! With this win, the Flyers acquire 72 points to lead the Atlantic Division!!!

It has been eight years in Flyers history since a scoreless tie. Well, it happened this afternoon, folks! The Defense gave up 37 shots on Cechmanek, something that rarely, never happens. Also, during the course of this game, the blind referees that must have come from Tampa gave the Lightning like 10 Powerplays, while they were running around, breaking every rule! Gagne was cheap -shoted by some stupid renegade lightning player and has a shoulder injury!!! And boy did everyone gang up on him!!! Hope he gets better soon! STUPID LIGHTNING!!!!
2/25 VS RANGERS
Flyers squeak it out, 2-1! Cechmanek is on fire, with a record of 7-0-1 at home. However, I do miss Boosh!! The Flyers seemed tired from their battle with Tampa yesterday, but gave enough effort to win!

Flyers shut out Sabres, 2-0!!!! Heard it was a gret game and shut out for Cechmanek, however I didn't get to see it because I was studying for yet another mid term! Thank God they're over!

Boucher back in net, but unfortunately Flyers loose. After istting out 11 straight games, Boucher was finally put back in goal. He did an amazing job, but Flyers just couldn't get the offense tonight.

Flyers regain Eastern Conference lead with win, 6-4! The turnovers lead to disasters tonight, but otherwise it was a good game!

We'll get 'em next time, my friends!!! Flyers loose 2-1. The Flyers played well through the first and second, but in third, couldn't get naything going. We couldn't convert on the PP or on the Penalty Shot. Saturday, we'll get a W!
GAME 2
Flyers loose in OT, 4-3. I really hoped I didn't have to write this, but... Sabres are up two games on us. We had to win this one. But, sadly, to no avail. We HAVE to win Game 3. There's no chance in hell we could come back from a oh plague the thought, 3-0 series!

Game 5 4/19
Flyers WIN 3-1!!! The score should have actually been 4-1 because Recchi shot the puck and Hasek caught it in his glove PAST the goal line!!! However, for some crazy reason, they ruled it no goal. The Flyers did everything right this game and MUST do it in game 6 to push a game 7. Hasek got ons of penalties because he's a pyscho cry baby!
PLAYOFFS- GAME 6 VS BUFF 4/21
Flyers eliminated, with an 8-0 loss. Flyers played horribly. They couldn't get anything going. Cechmanek was pulled after allowing 5 goals and Boosh was put in. However, they're still my team and I still love them! There's always next season. I can't wait until Buffalo gets eliminated! REVENGE! Thus, the Flyers season comes to an end. And so should Bob Clarke' reign of terror. Until next season, my friends, I will have no more game recaps pertaining to the Flyers, but I will have news on them. Check out the Phantoms section on their quest for the Calder Cup.
