MY STATEMENT OF FAITH
For those who don't know me, and for
those who do, I would like to make clear
what I stand for and what my life is
based upon.
1.....I believe the Bible is the
inspired Word of God......
2.....I believe in God the Father, Son
and Holy Ghost.....
3.....I believe that the Father, Son,
and Holy Ghost are one and are God.....
4.....I believe Jesus was born of a
virgin....Luke 1:26-35
5.....I believe that Jesus came to earth
as a man, died on the Cross for our
sins, and rose again on the third day...
6.....I believe that Jesus sits at the
right hand of God....
7.....I believe that to go to heaven you
must be born again....John 3:3 "Jesus answered and
said unto him, Verily, Verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God."
8.....I believe that, in order to be
born again, you must receive Jesus as
your saviour....Rom
10:9.."That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved."
Rom 10:13.."For whosoever shall call
upon the Lord Jesus shall be saved."
9.....I believe in a water baptism after
salvation...and in the baptism of the
Holy Ghost...Mark 1:6,
7 & 8..."And John was clothed with
camel's hair, and with a girdleof a skin
about his loins, and he did eat locusts
and wild honey; and preached, saying,
There cometh one mightier than I after
me, the latched of whose shoes I am not
worthy to stoop down and unloose. I
indeed have baptized you with water: but
he shall baptize you with the Holy
Ghost."
10....I believe that we are commanded to
preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15..."go ye
into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature."
As you can see, my beliefs are simple
and they go along with the Word of God.
