Earlier this week we received a hilarious CD from our good friends Lars 
and Henrik titled  "Reading Of The Diary" - this is the funniest 
Elvis CD we have ever heard.

The CD contains :

1 - An in-depth interview with Jackie Kahane.
_____________________________________________________________________________ 
 
2 - A beautiful eulogy to Elvis from Jackie in the form of a poem.
_____________________________________________________________________________ 
 
3 - Some rare backstage chatter between Elvis and his group on tour.
_____________________________________________________________________________ 
 
4 - Last but not least the VERY funny recording of the reading of the 
diary. 
_____________________________________________________________________________ 
 
The story behind the "Diary" is that Jackie kept a diary on every tour 
that he did with Elvis. When the tour was over the band and all the crew 
members on the tour would have a party (not attended by Elvis) and Jackie 
would read the diary and make fun of some of the things that happened on 
the tour.

This specific diary was from July 1976 - the highlight is Jackie 
interviewing Felton Jarvis - who was dressed up as Elvis and 
imitating him - this interview is one of the funniest interviews 
that we have heard in our life - definitely a great item for any 
Elvis collector.
