What is all comes down to is that I want to spend the rest of my life near a body of water where I can watch the sunset and paint the landscape. I want the quiet tranquility, and somehow want the peace of mind to fully enjoy it.

I'm almost thinking I should do the unthinkable and play the housewife afterall.

Does the means necessarily correspond to the end? I don't want to sit on that dock thinking I've done nothing with myself. I want to sit on that dock thinking I tried out a bunch of things can then be satisfied with the simplicity. Also, sometimes you need to put yourself outside of your element in order to really appreciate certain things. Which is why, for example, the POR is great for my artwork.
