There upon the highest shelf,
Tis' rest foreseen, foreshadowed,
To
search again and find it not,
At least the field has narrowed.
To look into this heart of mine,
To seek the richest gold,
For there inside an endless count,
Our love does not grow old.
When you least expect it,
That's what Mom would say,
That's the time I say these things,
My love, I sent your way.
Don't ask me what possessed me,
To sit and write this poem,
I must have read your mind again,
Somehow, I must have known.
When you least expect it,
Know not from where it came,

An Angel touched my life,
A special gift given from God,
A gift to me and to my wife.
Thirteen years ago today,
A perpetual light did shine,
A light that lights my darkest days,
A light that I call mine.
You see, you've been a gift to me,

With every hug and kiss you give,

Today we said goodbye to a friend we loved so dear.
A friend we used to play with and loved to hold so near.
A friend who made us smile when things seemed less than right.
A friend who was our candle, in the middle of the night.
I know
that our friend is in a gentle place.
A place that knows no pain.
A place where only Angels dwell.
A place where it will never rain.
I know our friend will be sadly missed.
Of this
I am quite sure.
Try to remember the fun we had,
And the love that will endure.
Someday we’ll see our friend once more, somewhere, high above.
And on that day a peace will come, peaceful as a dove.

Merry Christmas

It's an assault on Christianity,
An abomination of insanity,
To hide one's faith because of a few,
Keeping His name hidden and out of plain view.
I prefer to step right up to the plate,
Encouraging peace while stirring debate,
I'll not hide my faith nor keep it silent,
I'll keep up my witness,
And never turn violent.
I'll say "MERRY CHRISTMAS"! to whomever I feel,
His Name I'll proclaim and His love I'll reveal,
For I am a good and proud Christian being,
"Glory to God"! on my lips will be singing.
This Christmas forward till Earth is no more,
Praise God in your words and seek Heaven's door,
If you want to hide God, beg for forgiveness,
Or this HOLY-DAY SEASON... Say Merry Christmas!
