It is with a very heavy heart that I come to you all. Our Beloved CPP has passed away. She was my Yellow Rose of Texas and a favorite of most of you in the chat. She has been suffering for many years and the only things that makes us feel better is to know now she is at home without any pain. We will miss her very very much.....

My heart is very sad. She was an incredible lady that lived a life of honor and dignity. You only have to look at her children to see what an incredible mother she was. I imagine there are many people that were her students that are better people because she was their teacher. I was always in awe of her strength and courage she showed each day as she fought her illness. Through it all she maintained her sense of humor, she laughed at the illness and the endless treatments she had to take. What did she call transfusions? Refills! that's it! We always knew more about the good looking doctors at the hospital than we did about the pain she was enduring with each trip she had to make. I wonder if she ever knew that I watched my sentence structuring and spelling more closely when she was in the room? lol
Well we are all very sad today, we lost a dear family member, but heaven is rejoicing today, they just got an incredible angel! I hope all our other roomies that have passed on were there to meet her with a a battalion of marines! LOL

I agree Doug, my heart is also heavy this morning. We will all miss our cpp. She was a very special lady that smiled in the face of pain. As I sat in the p-g room last night waiting any word on cpp, my heart went out to her children. Carol is now in the arms of our Father free from the pain and struggle she felt everyday during her illness. She has been greeted by many wonderful people from our chat room and now she looks over us. May God bless her family left behind on earth and help them somehow with their grief. I love you all my friends, and will miss her very much. Love,

carol was one of the first people we ever talked to on our web. right away you know that she is sweet and kind and someone you want to call your friend. her and PM never did make it to tahiti, but but they sure did have fun trying. i am EXTREMELY GLAD that carol has been a part of my life for the past 3 years or so... i will miss her SO MUCH, but i know she is finally no longer sick and is at peace... I am truly at a loss for words....CPP has touched many hearts along the way, with her words of love and humor...She has been a long time friend to so many of us..When she called me at the hospital when I had my first back surgery in 97, she had me laughing so hard, when we hung up, I had to get a demorol shot for the pain....we all have so many happy memories, and knowing CPP, she already has keyboard in hand, and in chat in her home in Heaven...May you rest in peace...CPP, you will be greatly missed here, but we all know, you will be watching down on us... I have been sitting here wondering what I could say about a wonderful lady that so many of us hasn't already said, and all I can say is that CPP was,is and always will be a very special person to so many, she always put forth such a brave face and never complained and she truly was a wonderful person that God now has 1 more very special Angel and I am so glad that I got to know such a beautiful person. I love you all and I am so blessed to have so many special people in my life.

i have absolutely no words today as i got ths news on cpp. i know she is at peace finally i knew she was battling for as long as we were privliged to have her with us. but like everyone has said she is finally at peace. she was and always well be one special lady to me. a wonderful person who never let her illness get in the way of her smile or the love she could give you . never thinking about her own battle and never complaining always there for you if you were in trouble or having a bad hair day or a bad day she cried with us laughed with us . played with us . and joked around with us. i will surely miss her. go in peace cpp. i love you so much but i know your in heaven with the rest of our chatters that have gone on before you for now . just know we loved you much enjoyed you totally and will surely miss you .......

Like many of you, CPP was the very first person I ever talked to in a chat room. That occured in January 1998. Since then I have had the pleasure of speaking to her in the chat room many, many times. They will always be treasures to me.
My grandson, James, chatted with her many times also and he grieves her loss as much as I do. This morning as he headed out the door to catch the school bus he latched on to me and gave me a great big hug. He said she was such a nice lady.
CPP will be missed by all of you I know. She had so many friends in the chat room, and I know she cherished them dearly. She suffered pain in these past months and endued so much. She is now at rest, and is in the bosom of our Lord and Savior.

I just don't know what to say... Cpp was one of those special people who God sends to show you what love and strength are all about....Carol loved everyone of us..and we loved her.. we spent lots of hours laughing...escaping from the realities of the life we were having to experience... we lifted each others spirits when we needed them to be lifted the most...Thank you Carol for the many times you lifted mine and thank you for the opportunity to lift yours as well !!!! I will always cherish our pretend" convertible rides"...and just being wild and free and a bit crazy for just a little time. I thank you for being a dear and cherished friend..
