Please keep all those listed in your prayers as they defend our country and freedom... Even though the terrorist attack on 9-11-01 happened on the east coast, it has affected all Americans... Through the military, through the travelers on those airplanes, through the thousands of people in those buildings, and through the rescue workers... So really, this is not New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania... This is AMERICA... It affects all of AMERICA, especially through our military... No last names will be shown for security reasons... Please pray for their safety...

1. Larry W. is the brother of MelloMarsha... Larry just retired from the Navy after a 25 year career in the Marines and then Navy on Sept. 8, 2001... He is now waiting to see if he will be recalled... Larry has a new wife as of Aug. 2001 and a 16 year old son... Please pray for Larry's safety... Update: (9/10/03)... Larry has not had to return to duty these past 2 years... Thank you for the prayers...

2. Larry M. is the brother-in-law of MelloMarsha... Larry is in the Navy... He has been in the Navy for 19 years now... He has a wife and 2 sons, ages 12 and 10...Update: (2/26/03)... Larry has been sent overseas in an undisclosed location... Update: (4/13/03)... Larry returned home on 4/5/03...Update: (9/10/03)... Larry will fly out to an undisclosed overseas location tomorrow on 9/11...

3. Nathan E. is the son-in-law of Loreleii.... Right now Nathan is stationed at Ft. Bragg....Nathan will be leaving soon for training in GA. and then being deployed to Bosnia for 5 long months... Nathan has a wife and 2 children....

4. Nick R. is GwennieGal's grandson... He is a fighter pilot in the Air Force...

13. Patrick is FS23's son-in-law... He has been in the Navy for 13 years and has never had shore duty... This past year he was only home 78 days... He was scheduled to start 3 years of shore duty in November but now, might remain on sea... He has had several tours in the Persian Gulf... Patrick is an electronics technician...

14. Larn Jr. is Jackie052 aka MomPerkins's son... He is in the National Guard at Ft. Scott, KS... He is divorced and has 6 children... Update: (3/25/03)Larn is now on Red Alert standby, deployment unknown...

15. James P. is Jackie052 aka MomPerkins's son... He is in the Army and will be going to Korea for 2 years... James has a wife and 2 children... Update: (10/9/01) James and his wife just found out they will be having a new baby... James leaves for Korea next week...Update: (11/9/02)James is now Staff Sargent in Korea... Update: (7/13/03)James has returned back to the USA and will be stationed in Alabama... He now has 3 children...

16. Marshall M. is MsTuscola's stepdaughter's husband... He is in the Navy at Gulfport, MS... He has 3 sons...

17. Kathleen M. is Maddy's grandson's aunt... She is a major in the Canadian Army... Even though they are Canadian, they have pledged to support the US... Thank you Canada... Kathleen has a 6 month old daughter and is getting married soon...

18. Adam is Joyful's best friends' grandson... He is a recent graduate of the Marine Academy and is stationed in NC...

19. Shawn T. is Sis-218's nephew... He is in the Army and has his orders... The last telephone call home he said not to worry and that he is very "Proud to serve America, land of the free"...Update: (9/5/03)... Shawn has made it to Sargent rank...

21. Rick is Kywonder's son... He is a "career-Navy" guy with 17 years of service... He is stationed at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard... He is married, has 7 children and 2 grandchildren...

Update: (10/8/01) Rick has volunteered to go overseas... Even though his family is upset, they are also proud of him...

25. Larry II is Rndbt8 (aka skipdom)'s son... Larry is from VA and has just left for the gulf... He is supposed to be home in 6 months... He is married and has 2 daughters ages 7 and 14, a son that is 17 and going to college in 2002...

26. Rob M. is Kate51's nephew... He just enlisted in the National Guard... Rob is divorced and has grown children and he is a grandfather... (Go Grandpa!!!)

28. Ryan M. is Rhotim's brother... He just recently turned in his resignation orders to the reserves but will probably be going out somewhere... He is 32 and works with the prison system in TX... He has 2 kids, ages 6 years old and 20 months old...

29. John is Rhotim's brother-in-law... He has been in the service for 20 years... He has 2 children ages 13 and 12 years old... He is active in teaching and participating in sports with the children...
