If you've met the twins, please tell me your story!
Hi, my name is Elizabeth. Anyways, I met the Olsen Twins on the Ms. Massdam ship
(TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE 2000)! It was the best memory ever, the first day I got there, I was
so excited because after we sign in it's like I hope the twins are here. When I looked to my
right I saw them sitting while people were signing in the first night they welcomed everyone
at the conference I couldn't hardly wait to get the fun started the
next day. The days were filled with Rap Sessios, 70's dance
party, Autograph sessions and Photograph sessions, Talent
shows, Pajama Party, Pictionary, and much much more...
When I saw them dancing with fans and when we had the
pajama party I asked them if I could get a picture with them
and they said "sure", after that I asked the if they had time to check out my Olsen Web site.
They weren't promising anything but it's worth a shot you know? They asked my name and I
said "Elizabeth", they're all "we have a sister named Elizabeth" (Lizzie for short) It was cool I
got to chat with them and stuff like that. I don think they would remember me or this story
because there was a lot of fans coming up and asking them stuff! It didn't really mattter it
was cool talking and hanging with them for 7 days on the cruise, I don't think I'll ever forget
this moment of my life. It's like my second time meeting them in person, I also met them in
Hawaii for their 14th birthday. Anyways, when the 7th day came it was the sadest moment
because we had to say good-bye to the twins. But it was fun we had ice cream socials and a
farewell party for the fans. My parenst video taped this trip and I bought some photos that
were taken bya professional photographer and I also took some as well, I also have one with
me in it. It was the BEST MEMORY EVER!!!! Elizabeth=)
Hi, my name is Samantha. I raised $2,000 to meet the twins on the SWTS 1995 cruise. My dad said that if I paid for my ticket I would be allowed to go. So from April '95 to December '95 I baby-sat, collected money through Christmas and Birthdays, and brought cans and bottles to the supermarket. It's not llike I'm poor or anything, not that that's bad, but my dad didn't feel like paying for my ticket. After all, he's not a big fan of the twins! Anyway, the cruise was a rip-off in itself. A complete and total waste of money! But since my dad is a real go-getter and people-person, he made it the best ever. I am going to skip all the boring details and go right to the kill. We were all dancing one night and my dad got to know Dave Olsen. They had been talking about business and stuff, and he ended up telling Dave about my hard work. Dave was all nice about it, and he thought it was very cool. So anyway, that night, I went to go get some ceaser salad at, like, 12:00am. Mary-Kate, Ashley, and the whole crew were there, obviously avoiding the crowds of kids. Dave came up to me and said, "Are you the girl who raised $2,000?." And I said, "Yes, that's me..." I was so nervous! And then he brought Ashley over and she was like, "Hi." He told her what I did, and she was like, "Wow! You got that much money?!" And her friend, Allison, was amazed too. Allison was like, "You baby-sat and go that much?! Ashley, we could baby-sit Lizze!" It was so awesome! Mary-Kate was kind of a snubber, but she was pretty cool too. In fact, she cried the first night because all the fans were all touching her and stuff at the dance! :-( Anyway Dave told me to come to their room and take pictures after Country Western night! I was shocked. So I did, it was the coolest thing. After the dance we all walked off the deck, and Jessica was like, "Ashley, is this where tou did 'Who Would You Be'?" And Ashley said "No, that was another ship." They are really normal with their friends, but can be not very cool with their fans. So when I got to their room (did I tell you I got bumped to their floor for free because I was older and they didn't want younger kids harassing them?) we all sar down on the bed. Mary-Kate asked me if Samantha was my real name *my name tag just said Sam*, and I said "It should be," And they both laughed. Lizzie sat on my lap for some of the pictures!!! It was the best. After that night, they always said Hi to me! And I got mad special treatment from this amazing guy who was singing on the cruise, who happens to be the twins favorite singer!!! I also went swimming with Lzzie and Ashley and Mary-Kate. *~Sam~*
