April Dancers
This poem was written about a book I read called "The Last April Dancers." If you have read the book you will probably understand, otherwise it might not make sense.
By Jessica
- The moon is high,
- Her dress is new,
- The grass is wet,
- Her dream come true.
- They begin to dance,
- He takes her arm,
- Spins her round,
- She knows no harm.
- In the orchard,
- At the farm,
- They'll dance forever,
- Arm in arm.
- Together forever,
- Beautiful prancers,
- They are the last,
- Of the April Dancers.
