• Then their special day comes,

• One day the husband comes home to good news,
• They're going to have a baby.
• Nine months later they have twins,
• A wonderful beginning for a family.
• Years go by full of beauty queens and baseball trophies,
• Then the arguments about money start.
• It goes on and on until a dreaded word is said,
• The word that breaks a child's little heart.
• The end to a wonderful fairy tale,
• The childhood dream of 'Mommy and Daddy' forever.
• Mommy's little boy turns to drugs and alcohol,
• Daddy's baby girl looks for love from another.
• The perfect fairy tale family torn to pieces,
• Over things so immature and bias.
• No longer is it happily ever after,
• Because Mommy and Daddy wouldn't compromise.
