Unfortunately, because of my intense irritation with this character, I have not kept them all, but I do have a few for you to savor and enjoy!

Memorial Day's Fantasy Episodes
I guess Memorial day is one of those days when some soaps think no one is watching, and feel it is best not to air an episode that in any way moves stories forward. Port Charles and GH must believe that most of the country is out barbecuing, because on May 31 they both aired lame episodes.The funny thing is that since people are off on Memorial Day, there is the chance they are just sitting at home, perhaps watching soaps they don't usually watch. That, in fact, happened to be the case in this office.

Over on GH, we had an hour of Carly's fantasy as she (and we) watched how her life might unfold as Mrs. AJ Quartermaine. Though anything in the Quartermaine house is usually guaranteed to be funny, sadly, this was not. The dialogue was uninspired. The actors looked lost. The only bright spot was the red-haired kid they got to play Michael (now AJ pre Trey). He was hilarious in the scenes where he didn't know Carly was his mother and just worshipped the ground his father walked on.

GH's The Mommie Meanest: Carly Roberts
Forget that stuff about the apple not falling far from the tree [note: Barbara Spencer Jones, Carly's biological mother, was named the best mother for GH], because, as you may have noticed here, Carly isn't setting the best example for her son. Knowing the baby could easily be A.J. Quartermaine's -- with whome she shared a one-night stand while living with Tony -- Carly let Tony believe her baby was definitely his. Then, just before she gave birth, Carly lied and named Jason Morgan as the father. Even after learning the baby's true paternity (A.J.'s the dad), Carly has continued her Jason-as-dad charade, allowing Jason to bond with Michael while a clueless A.J. remains in the dark.Photo Caption: Carly's trying to make a good life for her son, Michael. Too bad it's all based on a lie.

GH's Cowardly Lines: Carly RobertsCarly can argue that everything she's done has been in the best interest of her child, but when it comes down to it, her paternity scam didn't help anyone. In addition to keeping the real biological father, A.J., away from their son, Michael. Carly has also robbed Michael of knowing his real dad. That ain't no way to reat a baby.
