FACTS
Tourette's Syndrome is a genetically transfered disease. What that means is that it is passed down through the family. If one of your parent has Tourette's then you have a 50% chance of inhereting it. Statisticly, girls have a 70% chance of showing symptoms and boys have a 99% chance of showing symptoms. In most cases TS appears to be a dominant trait. Most of the people in the family will get it. Symptoms are most noticeable at age 13 and 21.
