An Interesting Point of View - Part 3
By: Ryo-ohki

“Hmm, a shadow figure? Sounds fun! Who is it?” Jesse yelled.

You’re not supposed to know! Now be quiet! *hits Jesse with mallet* There now he can’t interrupt. So here’s the setting…

The three friends sat in the fields as two, yes two, figures watched over.

“Pika!” shouted the Pokemon.

“Huh?” said Leto, who was crawling on hands and knees playing fetch with Surfer Raichu.

Out popped a small Pikachu, from the back of the tree shouted someone,” Shadow Pikachu! Thunderbolt!”

The bolts shocked Leto and the, already whacked, Jesse. Surfer Raichu was unaffected. So it watched as a blond boy sneaked out from the trunk. He sneaked towards Jesse and Leto, pulling out a camera he took a picture.

“Rai?”

He ran off into the woods as the Pikachu followed. Surfer Raichu sweatdropped. In a couple minutes later Leto and Jesse recovered.

“What was that all about?” grumbled Jesse rubbing his head.

“I don’t know? Hey! Maybe SR-Chan knows.” Leto said looking at Surfer Raichu.

SR-Chan pointed her paw into the woods. They followed the broken branches as they came to a fork in the path.

“ Let’s split up, “ suggested Leto

“Okay,” agreed Jesse.

The bushes rustled to the left of them, but no one noticed.

“Heh, you see that Shadow P? Just the way they always do! Now for the fun!” said the same boy who had taken the pictures.

“Pika, pi, chu!” smirked the Pikachu that responded to the name Shadow P.

“Let’s see, hmm, these are good pictures. I bet you I can master them easily!” shouted the boy. “Or my name isn’t Kefka!”

Leto searched left to right trying to spot the Pikachu that had shocked her. Nowhere could it be found, nowhere. She was about to give up when she heard something.

“Letoooo! Ya` there? I think I found the Pikachu!” shouted a voice.

She turned her head from side to side, “Jesse?”

All of the sudden Jesse came tearing out from the bush behind her. Yes, Jesse it was! In his hand he held a Pikachu, just the way he had handled her Arbok when they met. She groaned, looking him in the eyes. Something wasn’t right, it didn’t seem to be him. She saw him, but not really, his eyes were covered with a cap.

“Jesse? No! You’re not Jesse! JJJJeeeeessssse! J-“ Leto’s mouth was covered by the mysterious person, then she was tied with her hands behind her back.

The solemn person pulled her deeper into the woods to a hidden camp. All around people were taking trainers into trucks and stealing their Pokemon. The one pulling her tied her to a tree and sat down near a fire. He ate beans and sushi in the night air. When done he looked to Leto and began the process she had seen when she entered the camp. Untying her, he took her Arbok and other Pokemon. Then he clasped her hands with metal handcuffs towing her to a nearby truck. She sat down on the floor of the truck, still figuring out what had happened.

Well this happened Jesse was still wandering the woods when a girl that ran into him suddenly startled him. He pushed off and thought silently. The girl looked away, her face covered in soot. Jesse looked down at his shoes.

“Um, sorry I didn’t mean to. I was just looking for someone.” Jesse rambled on.

The girl stared at him funny, that’s when he noticed the red, dirty ‘R’ on her shirt. He backed away. Scared as he was he had no clue what was happening. Jesse turned around ready to run when the girl grabbed his shoulder pulling him to the ground. Suddenly a swarm of biker past the road picking up dust behind them. In the lead was the well-known leader; Eliminator. Riding up front with him was a boy wearing a headband with a Spearow perched on his bike seat.

Jesse squint his eyes and turned around to face the girl whom still clutched his arm. Tears streamed from her black face. Jesse reached for her tears and knew that this girl was on his side.

Without Leto he had no choice, good or evil he needed help. Leto felt like no one was there; she was alone in the dark, like everyone else. A stranger…

What will happen to Leto?
Who is this girl?
What exactly is happening here?
