Spaghetti Pizza7 ounces spaghetti, uncooked 1/2 cup skim milk 1 egg, beaten 1/2 pound ground beef, lean* 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 15 ounces tomato sauce 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning salt to taste 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 cups mushrooms, sliced 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. In a medium bowl, blend milk and egg; add spaghetti and toss to coat. Spray a 15x10-inch jelly roll pan with vegetable cooking spray. Spread spaghetti mixture evenly over the pan. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until the beef is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomato sauce and seasonings; simmer 5 minutes. Spoon the meat mixture evenly over the spaghetti. Top with mushrooms and cheese. Bake in a 350 degree over for 20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. *Or, try ground turkey, or italian sausage! You could make it vegetarian, just add more veggies (in place of meat) to your sauce, try something like eggplant, zucchini or broccoli!
