Dreaming
The distance between the moon and the stars
isn’t as far as it seems
any space can be bridged
just look inside your dreams
you can float amidst the galaxies
soaring near and far
or enjoy a simple peace of mind
staying where you are
you have the universe inside of you
if you just know where to look
and you will see that it’s all free
to be read like an open book
When imagination sets in
and dreams begin to change
take away the deadends
your life will rearrange
a smile will grace your features
a much more pleasant face
happiness will fill your heart
and you will find your place
is anywhere you want to be
your mind is all that’s gone
just hop a dream and ride it free
and you’re in heaven before long
