Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter portrays the vapid Cordelia Chase, first in "Buffy", and now in "Angel". She came in to audition in 1997 as Buffy, but got the role of Cordelia (Just as Sarah Michelle Gellar auditioned for Cordelia, and got Buffy!) instead. In reality, she is not like her character. She is actually nice, focused, thoughtful, and intelligent.

Charisma was born in Las Vegas, and moved to Mexico at the age of 15. She used to take ballet lessons, and took classes at the Schol of the Creative and Performing Arts in San Diego. She became and earoabics instructor. She wanted to be a teacher, but was introduced into the world of acting, which she learned to love.

Charisma loves to do outside activities such as rock climbing, a hobby she takes pride in. She was a San Diego Chargers cheerleader once, and was also a star in Aaron Spelling's short lived series, Malibu Shores. She recently resides in California.
