Lúthien Tinúviel was the most beautiful creature ever created in Middle Earth by Illúvatar. She is found in Tolkien's Lays of Beleriand and The Silmarillion. Below the picture you will find part of the epic poem (over 4,000 verses in all) that Tolkien worked on for at least 6 years of his life.

The poetic version is waaaaaaay longer than the chapter from the Silmarillion... *in her best Lavar Burton impression*... "Don't take MY word for it!" Heh heh heh.
