ROBERT D. POOLER
DEXTER – Robert D. Pooler, 68, died December 8, 1999 at a Pittsfield
hospital after a long illness.
He was born January 9, 1931 at Dexter the
son of Philip and Marguerite (Higgins) Pooler.
He served as a corporal in
the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He retired from Eastland Woolen Mill
in Corinna after 33 years of employment there.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Smith) Pooler of Dexter;
3 sons, Philip
of Corinna, Stephen and Barry, both of Dexter;
3 daughters Anita Pushor
of Abbot, Deborah Henderson of Corinna, and Annette Keene of Dexter;
4
brothers, Roger of Texas, William of Derby, David of Harmony, and Owen of
Dexter;
4 sisters, Nancy Corris and Dorothy Ford, both of Arizona; Anna
Bailey of Cambridge, and Susan Weeks (Albert) of Dover-Foxcroft;

grandchildren.
Friends may call 2-4 P.M. Saturday, December 11th, at Crosby & Neal
Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter.
At his request, there will be no
funeral.
Private burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
