I apologize for yet another Misao-focused part. This is the last one, I promise! Mou, I wanted to give the plot a little twist by showing Misao as a temporary enemy, and it goes and bites me back, so I've decided to end it. I've taken A LOT of liberty in this so if you guys object to this, someone should redo it. Besides, you really think I'm letting Misao REALLY be a bad guy forever? I think not! BTW, the part about Aoshi, I really didn't expect it to turn out the way it did. Gomen!

Disclaimer: Pokemon is not ours. We only own our characters (in my case, RK doesn't belong to me. they weren't supposed to end up like their RK counterparts!)and the storyline...I think. Standard disclaimers apply.

Misao couldn't answer Janice. 'My reasons are personal. They don't have to know.'
"Well?" Janice asked, impatiently.
"Misao," a cool, placid voice.
Everyone whirled around to see a tall young man with raven black hair emerge from the shadows, crystals of ice still clinging on his body and strands of hair, leading a graceful Articuno. He shook the last of the ice off in one swift motion.
"Aoshi!" Misao shrieked in happiness, "But I don't understand."
"Mewgi is weak. Why do you think he sent the Screw-up Sisters to play their dirty tricks? It was easy escaping his grasp. What do you think I have been doing all this time trapped in the Articuno? Sleeping? I think not," Aoshi replied, a hint of humor in his tone.
The Articuno recognized Darren and flew to his embrace, while the others stood in a silent stupor.
"I'm lost. Did I miss something here?" Mike asked.
"In case you haven't noticed, you're free too," Aoshi said softly.
Misao realized his words were true. The great burden on her back from her enslavement by Mewgi was gone the moment Aoshi emerged. She never felt better!
She leapt for joy screaming, "I'm free! I'm free! I'm free!"
Everyone watched and sweatdropped. Then, she stopped and face Nikky and Melissa.
"I bet you had fun tormenting these people. It's about time you had some of your own medicine," Misao smirked.
Everyone lapsed into another flashback, but this one belonged to the Screw-up Sisters.
"Daddy!" a toddler Nikky squealed and latched onto a man's leg.
"Mommy!" a toddler Melissa screamed and held tight on a woman's leg.
The two people looked at the children in disgust and their eyes glowed a faint blue. The two girls were sent whirling against a wall, knocking Nikky out. The man stepped walked towards the girls.
"That's the guy from the alley and the one who killed Billy's mother!"
He spat and looked at the trembling twins.
"You are to serve Mewgi without question," he stated placidly and walked off with the woman who remained unseen to anyone.
Nikky and Melissa sniffled a bit and burst out bawling. Misao just laughed.
"Misao! How can you been so insensitive?" Darren yelled, stifling a sob.
"It's all fake."
"What?"
Misao explained.
"There is a similar person in every one of your flashbacks, a man. Do you think that's a coincidence? I think not. All these are false memories, planted in your mind when you entered. And the machine activating all this is behind...that!"
She pointed a long column, one of many supporting columns, but that one seems out of place. Gathering up her strength, she attempted to destroy it. It cracked the surface a little, but other than that, it did almost no damage.
Her smile fell as she was about to try again, when Jason placed her hand on Misao's, stopping her.
"You know, that's unfair, trying to be the heroine all by yourself, saving the lot of us."
Janice and Mike joined him. The four joined hands and started to meditate. They glowed a bright azure. They simultaneous released powerful blasts of psychic energy at the pillar, which quivered a bit before crumbling to the ground in a fine powder. The four smiled, panting and drenched in sweat. Psychic powers takes a lot out of one.
Meanwhile, the twins were lying on the ground, rubbing their temples, their faces contorted in pain.
"Oh gosh, I have SUCH a headache!" Melissa exclaimed.
"It feels like a jackhammer went crazy in my head," Nikky replied.
Melissa looked around.
"Hey, where are we? Where's Sabrina?" Melissa asked.
"Apparently not in Saffron any more. Let's get out of here," Nikky replied.
The twins joined hands and teleported out of the place.
"Hey, that's no fair. The rest of us didn't get to do anything!" Darren shouted.
"You'll wish you could say that later," a voice boomed out from nowhere,
"You are lucky to have defeated and freed your first adversary, but don't think that I or anyone else here will be so easy."
"Yeah, so? We'll beat them easier than we can say '1, 2, 3'!" Jason shouted.
"Don't be so sure of yourself. And Misao, Aoshi...smart. You were able to escape your bondage, but I can still capture you and your Aoshi, and the rest of you!"
