~~A long time ago, unicorns roamed the world, free to protect the forests and purify the waters. They were a creature so beautiful that man could not help but attempt to possess that beauty for himself. It was not long before these magnificent creatures began disappearing and beautiful long spiralling horns began to decorate chruch walls. These gentle creatures, once so prosperous are now all but extinct. This hostile and selfish world has eliminated their symbol of purity and innocence and in a way we have destroyed ourselves as well.
There are some people who believe that the only thing we have left of these wonderful beasts is the lore , legend, and fairy tales of yester-year. There are others who have different views. I personally believe that there are still unicorns in this hum-drum world. That they are trapped in human form, afraid to return to their real form. These people are the kindest and gentlest in the world. I strive to be a unicorn. Those unicorns that chose to remain in their true form have blended into the air and the forest, countinuing to purify the world and hoping that one day it will once again be safe for them. They reveal themselves only to the youngest and most innocence of us all....
