Well, I got the CD on June 20th like I said. Grace and I pretty much attacked the lady at Sam Goody and she had no clue why we were spazzing over a group she had never heard of. Anyway, just so I keep this short I'm only going to Review the CD in brief cause basically the whole thing is really good.
I love 'Messed Around' and I love the Remix even more.(I know I said I didn't like it before but I changed my mind) So, 'Messed Around', 'Can't Stop Loving You', 'They Say', and 'Lost' are my favorites. Overall I like the fast songs better than the ballads, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be 'Beautiful You'. 'Always' freaked me out cause I knew the words, then I relized it's cause it's a cover of an older version.
Anyway here's some general comments on each song:
Messed Around = Perfect song to blow someone off, I love the anger.
Dance With Me = Kinda scary intro, but it's so catchy. Does anyone else hear the phone ringing during the chorus? It drives me nuts!
Can't Stop Loving You = JC Chasez wrote it so you know it's good. It definitely carrys his style. I love it.A++
Beautiful You = I little corney but it's good. Their voices blend very well.
That's What You Get = Catchy, a little played out for me only cause I used to play that Loreal summer concert performance over and over. It's good though.
Don't Get What You See = Very Anthem like, but dancable. The beat is annoying cause it's the Backstreet Boys' 'Everybody' beat. I don't like the BSB, but I do like the song it's alright.
Always = I don't like the original version and this one isn't much better. It's not them it's the song. C-
They Say = BaBaBow! Another angry blow someone off song. Kinda like 'Say my name' but BnG style. I like it.
Light of Love = The intro is so corney with the sax and then the choir joining in at the end. Other than that it's a good song.
Lifetime = Very Sweet song but I usually skip it cause it's missing some spice. Not that it's bad it's just me, I like hyper music most of the time.
Just Gotta Make You Mine = Can we say 80's? Sorry, I don't like this song much. SKIP!
Lost = freakyfreaky! at first I couldn't figure out what it said at the beginning. I love this song, it's like one of those inbetween mood songs.
Messed Around (remix) = IloveitIloveitIloveit! I love how it builds and that pulse beat. Great Club Song!
That's What You Get (remix) = I can listen to this and not feel like it's really played out. It's cool.
Okay, well, that was a lot longer than I intended...Oh Well. Go buy it if you havn't already, it's well worth the money.
