Hello dear Mom, its me your boy, sending you my love,
I am at a place, called the Rainbow Bridge, in the heavens up above...
Its pretty here, the grass is green, the sun shines every day,
There are lots of pups, and others too, all here with me to play...
I can see you Mom, and I know your sad, and I miss you very much,
I miss the fun, the hugs and belly rubs, and your very gentle touch...
Always remember, it was not your fault, I should have stayed by you,
But I got scared, and off I ran, and there was nothing you could do...
I knew you were there, even though I was gone, as I could feel your tears,
I felt their warmth, falling on my fur, and they took away all my fears...
As I floated away, on an angel's wing, to the heavens in the sky,
I felt such peace, and I felt your love, as you said your last good bye...
When you think of me Mom, remember the fun, and the joy I gave to you,
How we made you laugh, Zoe, Cosmo and I, the things we three would do..
Now though I am not there, Zoe and Cosmo are, and I am in your heart,
You will feel me there, every now and then, so we won't be far apart...
I'll watch over you Mom, as an angel does, and keep you safe and well,
You will talk about me, with a tear in your eye, oh the stories you will tell..
I know you were proud, I was such a good boy, I did my best for you,
I wanted to Mom, as I loved you so much, and you sure did love me too..
You may hear the patter, of my feet on the floor, every once in a while,
It will be me, just dropping in, wanting to see you smile...
I'll always remember, the life that I had, and my very special home,
I'll be thinking of you, and Zoe and Cosmo, and I'll never feel alone...
