Lucy sat quietly in Doc's office as he told her " Lucy you are as good a doctor as I am. You can do this. You will travel with the Pony Express riders. When you get to Rock Creek take the boy home and tend his wounds. After that find a suitable hotel and stay there. In the morning find a place to rent an office. Then set up your practice and do like I've taught you." When doc was finished Lucy hugged him and went out the door. She mounted her horse and rode to Rock Creek.
