Teaspoon: "That ain't what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is why."
Jimmy: "Why what?"
Teaspoon: "Why in God's name I never noticed."
Cody: "Well I ain't going to touch that."
Lou: "I don't know, Teaspoon. Maybe you chose not to because if you did, you were going to have to fire me."
Teaspoon: "Why I'd do a fool thing like that?"
Lou: "Because I'm a girl remember?"
Teaspoon: "But that don't mean that you don't sit a saddle as good or ride as hard or shoot as straight."
Lou: Well, I know that, but the company's got rules and you work for the company."
Teaspoon: Well, I know that but company's company and family's family, and I've always thought of you boys-and girls-as family, and a family sticks together."
Lou: "You mean I can stay."
Teaspoon: "I don't see why not unless you got any other secrets you're keeping from me. As a matter of fact, I'm kind of relieved, I was beginning to wonder about them two.
Pilot
Kid: "Lou!"
Lou: "What's the matter Kid? Ain't you ever seen a girl before?"
(Later, towards the end)

Teaspoon: "I never said you being a kid had anything to do with it."
Jesse: "No, but that's what your all thinking and I'm going to have to prove you wrong."
Teaspoon: "You don't have to prove nothing to nobody."
Jesse: "It's you I'm talking about."
teaspoon: "Son, you keep walking away from people trying to help ya, one day when you need them, you're going to find yourself all alone."
Jesse: "I am alone."
Teaspoon: "No, you ain't."
The Gunfighter
Emma: "Mind telling me what's going on?"
Cody: "Jimmy was going to show down with that gunfighter I saw, Longley."
Jimmy: "He asked for it. He called me. He tried to make a fool of me, Emma."
Emma: "Maybe you don't have any sense at all. First you pick a fight with a hired gun and then you drag your friends into it!"
Jimmy: "His doing, not mine!"
Teaspoon: "You know the trouble with you boy, you're too damn hot for your own good, and I got just the thing to cool you down."
The Gunfighter
Jimmy: "Why do you always have to talk so crazy, Teaspoon? I'm talking about breathing-the air-and there ain't none in here."
Teaspoon: "Relax, boy, you're breathing too hard. You got to concentrate. I said concentrate, dammit."
Jimmy: "I am concentratin'!"

Lou: "Like what?"
Jimmy: "Mmm, You know."
Lou: "No, Jimmy I don't know."
Jimmy: "All I'm going to say is that you're the best lookin' boy I've ever seen."
Lou: "Why Jimmy." (giggles)
Cody: "I wouldn't let that go to your head, Lou. I've seen him looking at his horse the same way."

Lou: "What is this ice cream stuff anyway?"
Teaspoon: "Only the most delisious concoction you ever put in your mouth."
Lou: "Really."
Teaspoon: "I had some at a fair in St. Louis years ago. Still remember that first taste. It was like eating a frozen cloud, all cool and sweet. The cold just sort of melts on your tongue and wiggles through your inners. Perfect for a hot day like today."

Kid: "Jimmy."
(No answer)
Kid: "Jimmy!"

Old Indian: "That's why it gets my attention."

Teaspoon: "I just come in here to let you know that
