#1. Christianity is Monotheistic, meaning they worship only one God.
~Wicca is Duotheistic, meaning we worship both the masculine and feminine, or Goddess and the God.



#2. Christianity is Paternalistic or Patriachal, meaning that the male is the leader, or head of the clan.
~Wicca ranges from equality between sexes to matriarchal/ maternaistic, meaning we are equal in leadership, or in some sects the female is leader of the group.



#3. Christianity tends toward exclusivism, or "Only one true faith".
~Wicca recognizes pluralism: "All faiths are recognized."



#4. Christianity is Congregational, or in other words the clergy and congregation are separate.
~Wicca is Initiatory, all are part of the Priesthood.



#5. Christianity has no size restriction on congregations.
~Wicca consists of small groups/ covens, which usually have from 3 to 13 members. Though some covens may be larger.




#6. Christianity is Dualistic, meaning that Divinity is separate from the everyday world.
~Wicca is Monistic, meaning that Divinity is inseparable from the everyday world.



#7. Christianity holds the belief in resurrection, in the afterlife.
~Wicca holds a belief in reincarnation, in this world.



#8. Christianity believes Heaven is the destination of Christian souls.
~Wicca believes in Summerland, a resting place between incarnations.



#9. Christians are baptised into their faith.
~Wiccans are Initiated into their faith.



#10. Christianity has a belief in the eternal damnation of Hell.
~Wicca has no equivalent to Hell.



#11. Christianity has the belief in the evil being called Satan.
~Wicca has no equivalent to Satan.



#12. Christianity has the belief in Original sin, or that we are all born into sin.
~Wicca has no equivalent to Original sin.
