artist commentary: The reason I say it reminds me of my kitchen is because we had this odd looking thing that was basically a cow standing in grass infront of a white and blue checkered wall. My mom thought it was hideous but I thought it was cool. Apparently, it's tradition that you give it to someone when you paint your kitchen, so that they may pass it on when they paint their kitchen.
