I have studied
divine healing for many years, and I have also lived in divine health for many
years. It’s not that I haven’t had the
opportunity to become sick, but I have learned what opens the door, how to
close the door, and walk daily “in health.”
I John 3:2 says,
“Beloved, I wish (pray) above all else, that you prosper, and be “in health,”
even as your soul prospers.
It is of utmost
importance we spend “alotta” time in God’s Word. We cannot expect to reap all of His
blessings, if we don’t spend time with Him.
For me, it is an incredible privilege to know Him as my Savior, having a
call placed on my life, to be His ambassador in this life. If you know Him as your Savior, then you are
also called to be His Ambassador. As it
is with someone who represents a country as their Ambassador, he or she must
know all there is about who they represent, so as to do the job correctly. So it is with you and I. We must spend time getting to know the Lord,
and just how He wants us to represent Him today. Please know, you are so very important to Him and His work.
In our ongoing
study on healing, it is important for you and I to know the FULL meaning of
salvation. I believe we are quickly
coming into the time when we are going to see people walk into church services
unsaved, sick and full of demons, and they are going to walk out saved, healed,
delivered, and baptized with the Holy Spirit, all at the same time! You and I must know how to work with the
Holy Spirit to participate in their newly found salvation. Oh yes, the definition for salvation
includes the meanings, “deliverance, health, rescue, and safety.”
Let me ask you
the following question. “How many of
you believe that Jesus took all of our diseases on himself at Calvary? Every
one of those 39 stripes he had on his back represented every disease the human
race would ever know.
According to
Isaiah 52:14, when Jesus was on the cross He was the most un-human looking
thing you ever saw. I believe His body
was so racked with pain that you would not have even recognized Him to be a
human being. Every type of disease the
human family would ever know was inflicted on him during the time of those 39 stripes
being applied.
Isaiah 52:14 AMP says:
“(For many the servant of God became an object of horror, many were
astonished.) His face and His whole
appearance were marred more than any man’s, and His form beyond that of the
sons of men; but just as many were astonished at Him.”
Now, why were
they astonished when they looked at Him?
Because His body looked so terrible!
Can you imagine all the diseases on Him? All of the diseases known to
mankind were on Jesus at one time! It
is almost too mind boggling to think about.
Do you think His fingers were straight?
No, I think His body was so twisted that you or I would never have recognized
it. That is why they said it was an
object of horror, and His face and His whole appearance were marred more than
any man’s because no other man has ever taken as much on His body as Jesus did.
After taking some
time to think about the fact that all diseases were placed on Jesus, He bore
them all, and according to Galatians 3:13 He has redeemed us from every aspect
of the curse of the law, why do we put up with “dis-ease” on or in our bodies
at all. If He took them, bore them in
His own body on the tree, then why should you and I, as redeemed sons and
daughters of God, allow them for one minute to live in or on our bodies?
Once that dawned
on my spirit, it made perfect sense to me that the enemy of our soul who,
according to John 10:10, kills, steals, and destroys, no longer had any right
or authority to put any sickness or disease on my body. It is up to me however, to learn what “opens
the door” in my lifestyle to sickness and disease. Or what has opened the door
through the generations in my family that I did not know about. There are many studies today that will provide

has books as does Larry Huck. There are
so many resources available to you – but you must start doing your own studying
and learning, asking the Holy Spirit to give you a spirit of wisdom and
understanding and revelation knowledge in the things of the Kingdom of God.
So, these are
some challenging things for you to learn – the time is surely coming when God
will lead us to teach others.
