The voice of the Lord has
come unto me saying . .
.
“Be aware of the purpose
of your giving. Be aware of the
motivation of your heart. If you have no
purpose in your giving, you are not planting, you are scattering. If you have no purpose in your giving, no
hope, no dream, no desire, then you will not be diligent to watch over your
crop. You will never be diligent to
water that crop if you have no purpose.
BUT if you have purpose
in your giving,
if your giving is to bless
the
if your giving is to raise
a crop;
and to raise that crop is
for the purpose of further blessing the work of God . . .
and to further bless your
family;
and to further bless those
around you;
and not to squander
on your own lusts . . .
but to increase the
evangelism of the world;
to increase in taking the
Word of God to the nations . . .
then you will watch over that
crop and will water it;
and you will harvest
it; and I will give the increase,”
says the Lord.
