ONE NATION UNDER GOD

“One Nation under God”, is a phrase of huge meaning and great tradition.  The men who founded this great nation were men of prayer and faith; men who looked to God for direction and answers; men who established something for the betterment of all who would live here.

 

What have we done???  We, as Christians, stand by while men of no faith and no God tell us what we can do, and interpret the precepts of our founders in a tragically, distorted way.  They make tearing our Christian values apart a priority, while we stand by and say, “I can’t believe what our country is coming to”, and DO NOTHING.

 

Don’t you think it is time to put your actions where your mouth is??  You may be reading this and say, “Who does she think she is?”  Please allow me to answer you~

 

I am a missionary who has spent many years in other countries, and because of seeing other cultures, I appreciate my own (no matter how many problems it has.)  The United States of America is still the greatest country in the world . . .

 

ü      it still gives each citizen freedom to live where they want to live.

ü      It allows each citizen to pursue an education of their choice.

ü      It allows each citizen to marry whom they want to marry.

ü      It allows each citizen to vote into office the person they believe is best for the job of governing our cities, out states and our country.

ü      It allows each citizen the choice of eating the foods they want to eat.

ü      It allows each citizen the right to see a physician and dentist to keep themselves whole to live a happy and healthy life.

ü      It allows each citizen to travel the world and know they can come back to their homes.

 

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY~

 

ü      It allows each citizen to worship God in their own way.

 

These things may seem so common and so ordinary to all U.S. citizens, but do NOT TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED!!           I have lived in countries that do not allow the freedoms mentioned above, but because I was a U.S. citizen, I had more freedoms than their own people.  I was allowed to help so many people in their countries because I was a citizen of the United States.  We are a blessed people who have attacks come against us – but we still have the strength to hold on to what we believe and fight for what is right!!  Don’t just sit and talk about

 

ü      The Ten Commandments being brought down in public buildings

ü      Gay marriages being made legal

ü      Bibles taken out of public schools

ü      Excessive lobbying against conservative judges

ü      Prayer in schools and at school activities

ü      Abortions

And so much more~

 

 

WITH FREEDOM COMES DUTIES –

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.   

THAT IS ALSO YOUR DUTY AS A CITIZEN OF THIS BLESSED COUNTRY!!

 

Pray, pray and pray more, and watch the Lord answer.  Pray for our country and pray for Israel.  Pray for all countries to be free and have a decent, joyful life for their people.  And don’t be an Ugly American!  I hear Americans gripe about the smallest, least important things in their lives, and I watch others starve to death and babies die because mothers could not buy pre-natal vitamins.  I see the joy in the eyes of people who are told about Jesus and believe, for the first time in their lives, there is hope!

 

 

PRAISE GOD FOR THE U.S.A.!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
