REAL LIFE

Constructive criticism is when I criticize you . . . destructive criticism is when you criticize me.

No rules for success will work if you don’t.

A day of worry is more exhausting that a week of work.

What we truly value, we do.

The greatest mistake you can make is to be constantly afraid you will make one!

Troubles, like babies, grow if we nurse them.

If you base your security on something that can be taken away, you will live in fear.

Sometimes the littlest thing in life are the hardest to take.  We can sit on a mountain more comfortably than on a tack.

If at first you don’t succeed, try to hide your astonishment!

Some people know a lot more than they tell.  Unfortunately, the reverse is also true.

What we have in our hearts, shows on our faces!

The ones you should try to get even with are the ones who have helped you.

God gave us mouths that close and ears that don’t . . . which should tell us something.

No two people are alike, and chances are, both of them are glad of it!

TRIUMPH . . .Umph added to try!

Most worries are reruns.

If you have chosen between pleasing another and pleasing god, . . . choose God.  He’s most likely to remember!

Anger makes your mouth work faster than your brain.

Always do right . . . this will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

As you go through life, you’re going to have many opportunities to keep your mouth shut.  Take advantage of them all.

The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one comes from a strong will and the other comes from a strong won’t.

If you laugh a lot, when you get older, your wrinkles will be in the right place.

Nothing is quite so annoying as to have someone go right on talking when you are interrupting.

Never buy anything with a handle on it . . . it means work.

Some people start cutting their wisdom teeth the first time they bite off more than they can chew.

The surest way to live with honor in the world is to be what we appear to be.
