Galatians 5:22-23 But the
fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

not our goodness but God’s.

It is God’s good pleasure that we demonstrate His goodness.
II Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray
always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work
of faith with power:

Those that reject
Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches
of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the
goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
3) Only when we yield to the fruit of the Spirit
are we ready to share

Goodness is righteous living and honesty.
Eph 5:9 For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth;
