A CALL FOR OBEDIENCE GOD CALLS TO HIS PEOPLE, PLEADS, PROTESTS. JEREMIAH
11:6-8 OBEY MY VOICE Then the
LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in
the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do
them. 7: For I earnestly
protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land
of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my
voice. Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked everyone in
the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the
words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not. DEUTERONOMY
5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear
me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and
with their children for ever! THIS IS THE
HEART OF GOD, YEARNING OVER HIS SPECIAL PEOPLE OVER THE
PEOPLE HE FORMED FOR HIMSELF EZEKIEL 36:24-28 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy
name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. 23: And I will sanctify
my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned
in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith
the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24: For I will take you
from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring
you into your own land. 25: Then will I sprinkle
clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and
from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26: A new heart also will
I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the
stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an
heart of flesh. 27: And I will put my
spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my
judgments, and do them. 28: And ye shall dwell
in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I
will be your God. A CHRISTIAN,
HAS THAT NEW HEART GOD’S HOLY
SPIRIT IN US HE [THE HOLY
SPIRIT] MANIFESTS THE PRESENCE OF JESUS IN US THE COST OF
AN UNRENEWED MIND.... PROVERBS 19:3 AMP. THE
FOOLISHNESS OF MAN SUBVERTS HIS WAYS [RUINS HIS AFFAIRS] THEN HIS HEART IS RESENTFUL AND
FRETS AGAINST THE LORD. IF WE HAVE
CONTINUAL DEFEAT, IT IS NOT GOD’S FAULT. WE HAVE
MISSED IT SOMEWHERE. WE [CHOSE] TO
WALK IN DARKNESS OF WE [CHOSE] TO WALK IN LIGHT STOUT
WORDS MALACHI 3:13-14 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What
have we spoken so much against thee? 14: Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that
we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the
LORD of hosts? 15: And now we call the
proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt
God are even delivered. MALACHI 3:13 LIVING YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARD ME HAS BEEN PROUD AND ARROGANT, SAYS THE
LORD BUT YOU SAY, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
WHAT HAVE WE SAID THAT WE SHOULDN’T? LISTEN, YOU HAVE SAID, “IT IS FOOLISH TO
WORSHIP GOD AND OBEY HIM. WHAT GOOD
DOES IT DO TO OBEY HIS LAWS, AND TO SORROW AND MOURN FOR OUR SINS? FROM NOW ON, AS FAR AS WE’RE CONCERNED,
‘BLESSED ARE THE ARROGANT.’ FOR THOSE
WHO DO EVIL SHALL PROSPER, AND THOSE WHO DARE GOD TO
PUNISH THEM SHALL GET OFF SCOT-FREE.” ANOTHER GROUP
OF PEOPLE SPEAK/ACT DIFFERENTLY... MALACHI
3:16-1816: Then they that feared the LORD spake
often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of
remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that
thought upon his name. 17: And they shall be
mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I
will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 18: Then shall ye
return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth
him not. LIVING: THEN THOSE WHO FEARED AND LOVED THE LORD SPOKE OFTEN OF HIM TO
EACH OTHER. AND HE HAD A BOOK OF
REMEMBRANCE DRAWN UP IN WHICH HE RECORDED THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO FEARED HIM
AND LOVED TO THINK ABOUT HIM. ‘THEY
SHALL BE MINE,’ SAYS THE LORD OF HOSTS, ‘IN THAT DAY WHEN I MAKE UP MY
JEWELS. AND I WILL SPARE THEM AS A MAN
SPARES AN OBEDIENT AND DUTIFUL SON.
THEN YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOD’S TREATMENT OF GOOD MEN
AND BAD, BETWEEN THOSE WHO SERVE HIM AND THOSE WHO DON’T. WHICH GROUP
ARE YOU IN? GOD MAKES A
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED. BETWEEN THE
OBEDIENT AND THE DISOBEDIENT ISAISH 3:10,11 Say ye
to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the
fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked!
it shall be ill with him: for the reward of
his hands shall be given him. GOD IS NO
RESPECTER OF PERSONS [ACTS 10:34] BUT, HE IS A
RESPECTER OF OBEDIENCE, AND OF FAITH; HE KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE
WHO OBEY HIM AND THOSE WHO DON’T. BLESSINGS
FOLLOW OBEDIENCE BECAUSE OF A
LOW-LEVEL OF OBEDIENCE AND SPIRITUAL MATURITY, THE CHURCH HAS BARELY
SCRATCHED THE SURFACE OF THE BLESSINGS OF GOD GOD WANTS US
TO LIVE IN THE EARTH LIKE WE WERE ALREADY IN HEAVEN MATTHEW
6:10 LORD’S PRAYER: THY WILL BE DONE IN
EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN BUT IF: WE DO NOT WALK WITH HIM, DON’T OBEY HIM, DON’T RENEW OUR MINDS
TO WHAT HE SAYS THEN, WE GIVE HIM NO PLACE TO MOVE IN OUR LIVES! WE SHUT THE DOOR! GOD HAS
ALWAYS DESIRED TO DO MIGHTY THINGS UPON THE EARTH, HE DESIRES TO MANIFEST
HIMSELF. HE IS WAITING FOR A PEOPLE:… ¨ WHO WOULD FIND OUT WHAT HE IS LIKE ¨ BELIEVE HIS WORD ¨ DARE TO WALK IN IT ¨ WOULD KNOW HIM ¨ COMPREHEND HIM ¨ WALK, TALK AND ACT LIKE THE TRINITY EPHESIANS
3:16-21 MAY HE GRANT YOU OUT OF THE RICH TREASURE OF HIS GLORY TO BE
STRENGTHENED AND REINFORCED WITH MIGHTY POWER IN THE INNER MAN BY THE [HOLY
SPIRIT HIMSELF] INDWELLING YOUR INNERMOST BEING AND PERSONALITY. MAY CHRIST
THROUGH YOUR FAITH [ACTUALLY] DWELL [SETTLE DOWN, ABIDE, MAKE HIS PERMANENT
HOME] IN YOUR HEART. MAY YOU BE ROOTED DEEP IN LOVE AND FOUNDED SECURELY ON LOVE. THAT YOU MAY HAVE THE POWER AND BE STRONG
TO APPREHEND AND GRASP WITH ALL THE SAINTS [GOD’S DEVOTED PEOPLE, THE
EXPERIENCE OF THAT LOVE] WHAT IS THE BREADTH AND THE LENGTH AND HEIGHT AND DEPTH
OF IT.... THAT YOU MY REALLY COME TO
KNOW [PRACTICALLY, THROUGH EXPERIENCE FOR YOURSELVES,] THE LOVE OF CHRIST,
WHICH FAR SURPASSES MERE KNOWLEDGE [WITHOUT EXPERIENCE] THAT YOU MAY BE
FILLED [THROUGH ALL YOUR BEING] UNTO ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD [MAY HAVE THE
RICHEST MEASURE OF THE DIVINE PRESENCE, AND BECOME A BODY WHOLLY FILLED AND
FLOODED WITH GOD HIMSELF. NOW TO HIM
WHO, BY [IN CONSEQUENCE OF] THE [ACTION OF HIS] POWER THAT IS AT WORK WITHIN
US, IS ABLE TO [CARRY OUT HIS PURPOSE AND] DO SUPERABUNDANTLY, FAR OVER AND
ABOVE ALL THAT WE [DARE] ASK OR THINK [INFINITELY BEYOND OUR HIGHEST PRAYERS,
DESIRES, THOUGHTS, HOPES, OR DREAMS]. TO HIM BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH AND IN
CHRIST JESUS THROUGHOUT ALL GENERATION FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN [SO BE IT]. WE NEED TO
MAKE OURSELVES AVAILABLE TO HIM CHOOSE TO
