“FROM SERVANTS OF SIN TO SERVANTS OF GOD”
ROMANS 6:14-23 For sin shall not
have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we
sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye
not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to
whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But
God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the
heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from
sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men
because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members
servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your
members servants to righteousness unto holiness. For when ye were the servants
of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things
whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those
things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God,
ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through
¨ WHEN WE YIELD OURSELVES
TO THE DEVIL AND FOLLOW AFTER SIN, WE ARE ‘SERVING HIM’ AND NOT GOD.
¨ WHETHER A SERVANT OF SIN
[UNTO] DEATH OR A SERVANT OF OBEDIENCE [UNTO] RIGHTEOUSNESS....
¨ WE YIELD OURSELVES TO THE
“ONE” WE ARE SERVING.
¨ WE ‘REAP’ THE ‘HARVEST’
OF THE ‘ONE’ WE SERVE: A HARVEST OF LIFE OR DEATH.
YOU AND I ‘LET’ SIN REIGN
IN OUR BODIES [AT TIMES] OUR BODIES ARE TO BE RULED BY ‘US’ OUR ‘NEW CREATION
SPIRIT’ THAT CAME FROM GOD AT OUR NEW-BIRTH
IF OUR ‘SPIRIT MAN’ COULD
NOT HANDLE THE JOB, GOD WOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN US THIS ASSIGNMENT.
¨ WHEN GOD GIVES AN
ASSIGNMENT, HE [ALWAYS] GIVES THE ABILITY.
¨ YOUR SPIRIT [EMPOWERED BY
THE HOLY SPIRIT] HAS THE POWER TO CONTROL YOUR BODY.
¨ SIN SHALL NOT HAVE
DOMINION!

ROMANS 8:
11-14 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by
his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren,
we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after
the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of
the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are
the sons of God.

HOLY SPIRIT INSIDE US.......WE WILL BE DEFEATED [NOT MAYBE]

keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when
I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
13: There hath no temptation taken you but
such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be
tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to
escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

12:1,2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye
present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is
your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may
prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

SIN, SO THAT WE CAN YIELD OUR BODIES TO GOD AS SERVANTS OF GOD IN ‘HOLINESS’
AND ‘RIGHTEOUSNESS’
EPHESIANS
4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which
is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of
your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness
and true holiness.
