"THE
RESURRECTED JESUS"

"That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection,
and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his
death." (Philippians 3:10).
This verse was my prayer...I prayed it diligently with all of my
heart! But, little did I know what lay ahead of me.........
I was on a deathbed, with a chronic case of hypoglycemia (low
blood sugar).
It had begun months, and even years, before this with
weight loss, and weakness, amongst other symptoms. I got down to 70
pounds and was so weak I could hardly get up. My husband had to cook the
meals for us and for our four children. My own pastor told us later that
he thought I would never make it!
A lady prophesied to me on a cassette tape that by Jesus'
stripes, I was healed. I believed it, but I didn't see it! Another
lady prophesied to me that she saw me in a white suit with a red corsage, going
everywhere for Jesus! I believed it; yet it seemed impossible!
Satan Comes
to Tempt
Until one day, the enemy of my soul came to me and spoke to me,
as I lay helpless on my bed. He said, "Why don't you just
die?" I opened my mouth to agree with this suggestion, until God
spoke sternly to me. He said that I was to claim life. I was so
weak, it seemed that dieing would be much easier! But, I recognized the
seriousness in My Father's voice.
And, so, I said, "No Devil, I will not die - But,
I will live and declare the works of the Lord!"
Speaking the
Word
And, from that moment on, I began to heal! I had spoken in
agreement with God's Word and His will; and they were WORDS OF LIFE!
For the power of life and death is in the tongue!
I had begun to know Him; to have fellowship with His sufferings;
to be conformable to His death; but now...to experience THE POWER OF HIS
RESURRECTION!
"That I may know Him" - To know means to know by experience.
"And the power of His resurrection" - To experience that same power that raised Christ from the
dead".
"And the fellowship of His sufferings" - The Greek means "a joint participation".
"Being made complete” conform to His death and resurrection.
Romans 8:11 says, "But, if that same Spirit of Him that
raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the
dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in
you."
My husband and I are now preparing to leave for Africa for the
eighth time in June! We will be in Nairobi, Kenya and in the
Bush. We may be in Tanzania and Ruanda. And, we will be in South
Africa.
But, one day, on one of our first trips to Africa, I realized
that I was wearing a white wool suit with a red flower! And, as
the prophecy had said - I was going here and there for Jesus!
"Believe and you shall receive" the promises of God! Healing comes by Jesus' stripes, but
new life comes from His resurrection. Remember, there is nothing too hard
for the resurrected Lord!
He is. . .
"THE RESURRECTED
JESUS"!!
Father, I speak healing in the name of Jesus, by His stripes on
the cross to each one reading this message right now, and that THE POWER OF THE
RESURRECTION will bring new life and power to each one. In Jesus name.
