FEAR
OF THE UNKNOWN
A major reason
people have for seeking out fortunetellers is that they are afraid of the
unknown. This type of fear is one of the greatest painful emotions that exists. Men and women invest in different types of
retirement plans and work diligently at eating the right foods and exercise
regularly. It gives them the satisfaction of believing that they are
treading on safe territory. What they don’t realize is that disaster can
show up at any time
The truth is that most of
us are only a paycheck from being homeless. It is also possible that we
can get stricken down by a life- threatening virus at any time that will cost
us grief, worry and pain. We may experience the death of a loved one, quickly become the product of a broken relationship.
We, as a people, have a tendency to rely on ourselves and have forgotten that
we were created to have fellowship with God who is our only Sustainer: (one who
sustains - maintains and supports us) - Cambridge Dictionaries. He
reminds us that He is everything that we need “I am the
Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelations
When
Our Heavenly Father
allows us to go through hard times. We may not like it because we
experience pain however we need to understand that our trials are growing
pains. My friends consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trials
come your way, for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such
trials, the result is the ability to endure. Make sure that your
endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect
and complete, lacking nothing. But if any of you lack wisdom, you should pray
to God, who will give it to you; because God gives generously and graciously to
all, James
1:2 - 5
God loves us with a
perfect love for He is love Himself. When He reminds us that …
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear
involves torment.
1John 4:18 Tomorrow is not promised to us however as long as we
give each new day over to His care, He will take care of all our needs.
