A
LOST PEOPLE
Minister Francine Stuart, Florida
God has a special love
for people who just can’t seem to do right!
.
The truth is that God
showed us that we were all dead in sin and we were living in a dead world without
hope of achieving peace no matter what we did. Everyone has sinned and is
far away from God's saving presence Romans 3:23 It is only through His grace (His unmerited gift)
that we saw who we were and that we were heading to the eternal place of
punishment.
.
Satan was deliriously happy
when he saw us as a lost and suffering people. His joy was cut short
however when Jesus entered into a world which he thought was
his. He tried everything he knew in order to bring the Son of God down to
his level but failed miserably.
.
The enemy cringed when Jesus was nailed to the cross
and raged when he saw that our Savior brought all our sins with Him.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone
who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” John
3:16 The devil ranted and raged when he saw Jesus raised from the dead
three days later. What made it worse was the fact that Christ brought back the keys
of hell with Him. He showed satan that hell was not
his. The devil’s only hope was the knowledge that not everyone will
choose the road to the Kingdom of God. His plan is to
entice men and women with evil things that please the flesh and will not only
lead them to sin but keep them there as slaves.
.
Those of us who have
given our life over to Jesus Christ have a job to do. We need to reach out to
all those who just can’t seem to get it right. The day will come when God
will judge us for what He has called us to do.
.
Matthew 25: 31-46 "When he finally arrives, blazing in beauty and all
his angels with him, the Son of Man will take his place on his glorious throne.
Then all the nations will be arranged before him and he will sort the people
out, much as a shepherd sorts out sheep and goats, putting sheep to his right
and goats to his left."Then the King will say to
those on his right, "Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what's
coming to you in this kingdom. It's been ready for you since the world's
foundation. 35And here's why: I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and
you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and
you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and
you came to me.' "Then those "sheep' are going to say, "Master,
what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you,
thirsty and give you a drink? 38 -39And when did we ever see you sick or in
prison and come to you?' Then the King will say, "I'm telling the solemn
truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored,
that was me--you did it to me.' "Then he will turn to the "goats,'
the ones on his left, and say, "Get out, worthless goats! You're good for
nothing but the fires of hell. 42And why? Because-- I was hungry and you gave
me no meal, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was homeless and you gave
me no bed, I was shivering and you gave me no clothes,
Sick and in prison, and you never visited.' "Then those "goats' are
going to say, "Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see
you hungry or thirsty or homeless or shivering or sick or in prison and didn't
help?' "He will answer them, "I'm telling the solemn truth Whenever you failed to do one of these things to someone who
was being overlooked or ignored, that was me--you failed to do it to me.'
"Then those "goats' will be herded to their eternal doom, but the
"sheep' to their eternal reward."
