JESUS, LORD OF THE
“WHEAT & TARES”

13:24-30 A parable Jesus told.
.
Recently, in our church….we had a bad situation, where
gossip started and one of our families became very critical of everything. The influence of one of the family members
caused the whole family to stop coming to our church, because they felt many
people there were not living the “TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE” as the Bible teaches….
We asked this
family to please “MAKE A LIST” of all the gossip they heard. When they did that, I felt finally at ease and at peace, because though the list was LONG, I could see it was
over-rated and many of the things had been taken care of already. I saw that it was the ENEMY…that lying devil
& his demons.., that had planted TARES in the FIELD OF WHEAT…. And these dear people were looking more at
the TARES than they were at the WHEAT…..
Most of you will know this
parable…how good seed was planted in a field, and an enemy came & put bad
seeds of “tares” in with the good seed of wheat. They both grew up together….and both were
harvested!!!
As the servants
in the parable, (Matt 13: 27 – 29) THIS
FAMILY WANTED US TO PULL OUT THE TARES
from the WHEAT.
As we dealt with
this problem, the Lord showed me this parable, and reminded me that HE IS THE
LORD OF THE HARVEST!!! Not us!!!
WHAT IS A
TARE? Is it a weed of some sort? What does it look like?
Well, according
to the Greek…. A tare is more than just a weed!
It is called “FALSE
GRAIN” …So, therefore, it sort of looks like THE REAL THING!!!
I told this
family that JESUS IS THE LORD OF THE HARVEST…and instead of looking so much at
the tares……they should LOOK AT THE GOOD SEED… THE WHEAT!!!!
My heart was
again filled with joy, as Jesus showed me how greatly He was moving and saving,
and changing people’s lives in the church. He truly was LORD of the
Harvest….and we surely cannot fix everybody’s problem………………That’s why we have
strong emphasis on the ALTAR TIME.
We have seen
TARES TURN INTO WHEAT….but it is the LORD who does the changing….As they BEHOLD
HIM…they are changed into HIS IMAGE more and more……. But…….yes, there will always be the tares too.
My final comment
to this family was a most beautiful verse, to help them see the wheat, and I think It will encourage you too, in
this time of great confusion in America and in the Whole world.
Even though you may know this verse………JUST TAKE A DEEP BREATH,,,,READ IT
SLOWLY and LET
IS FLOOD YOUR SPIRIT, YOUR MIND,
YOUR VERY BODY…..AAAHHHH…..

think on THESE THINGS:
whatsoever things are
TRUE whatsoever things are HONEST,
whatsoever things are
PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY,
Whatsoever things are
of GOOD REPORT… if there be any VIRTUE,
if there be any PRAISE……
THINK ON THESE THINGS…..
READ IT EVERY
DAY…3 x a DAY….UNTIL IT CAUSES YOU TO LOOK UP…SEE THE LORD JESUS & HIS
FULLNESS, then LOOK ON THE FIELDS……FOR THEY ARE RIPE AND FULL OF WHEAT!!! IT IS HARVEST TIME & JESUS IS LORD!!!! HALLELUJAH.
