January 2010 DREAMS FOR THE NEW YEAR?
"My
times O Lord are in Your hands" Psalm 31:15
JOB
22:28 THOU SHALT ALSO DECREE A THING, AND IT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED UNTO THEE:
AND THE LIGHT SHALL SHINE UPON THY WAYS.
A
lot of Christians say God will do it, when Jesus has already done it for us,
and we only have to accept what He has done and what God the Father has in His
Word for us to do, to use, and to produce what we want/need.
Here
we have in Job, the words "Thou shalt decree a thing", in other
words, we decide what we want/need, and we say it, and we pray it!!!
If
we walk close to Jesus and are filled with the Holy Spirit, we will know
exactly what direction the Holy Spirit wants us to travel.
Proverbs
3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
All
we have to do is acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, and our paths will
be lit up for us to travel on, as in Proverbs 4:18.
Gods
Word is a Lamp unto our feet!!!
Psalms
119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Proverbs
4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and
more unto the perfect day.
So
for the New Year, our future is in us, that is in you and me!!! Whether we have God's Word deep within us,
that is in our heart, and in our mouth.
Many
a person has destroyed their prayers, due to undoing of their prayers with what
they say outside their praying, because what they say is really what is in
their heart, and what is in the heart comes out the mouth!!!
Whether
that be your mouth or my mouth.
A
vicious circle isn't, or is it, it can be a very sweet path that we travel on,
if we are obedient to the Holy Spirit, and follow in what He directs us to do,
and to be.
Being
obedient doesn't mean we cannot decree a thing, it means when we decree a
thing, it means that we will get it right more often.
Deuteronomy
30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that
thou mayest do it.
Psalms
19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable
in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Proverbs
15:14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth
of fools feedeth on foolishness.
This
coming year let us draw that much nearer to Jesus, and seek what He wants for
us in this coming year.
There
is a song that says "A New Touch from the Lord", so let us go after
that new touch from our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ, He wants us to have it.
Do
you want it, if so go after it!!!
Jeremiah
29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all
your heart.
WILL
WE ........... that is you and I,
.......... search for God our Father
this year, ............... as we
should, ..... WITH ALL OF OUR HEART???
