HOW
GOOD IS OUR FRUIT?
I believe that to have good fruit showing in our
life, is to know our enemy, and so not to have our good fruit spoilt by satan.
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he
that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil.
Going ahead with a vision, satan is there to
hinder, divert us, and to cause untold problems, as we move towards the vision
that we believe Jesus has set for us. Also not to know the wiles of the devil
we can leave our selves open to be deceived, and tricked by him. (wiles =
deceived, trick, to lure, entice.)
How many Christians really know much about our
enemy, I try to share what I know with those I am in contact with, but most do
not even want to know about the enemy and his tactics, nor do they want to know
how to do warfare against the enemy, and if we do not know and understand about
our enemy how can we do warfare against him, and make a gain for heaven!!! There
is a book out
"Understanding Your Worst Enemy" by Mel Bond, a statement on the Internet
referring to this book says "Many Christians are defeated because they
don't understand the realm of satan and his kingdom." When a good soldier
goes to battle, he/she, prior to going to battle learns how to defeat the enemy
and how to conquer the enemy but with Christians many do not want to learn how
to defeat satan, and his fallen angels, and his demons, and so we have so many
fallen soldiers of Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any
means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and
that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Too many Christians and Christian leaders today
are being deceived, due to what is being taught throughout the churches, such
as New Age etc, so many are being deceived by the false teachings that is
around today, just because some teaching sounds good, or makes sense. I believe
one deception is; THE RAPTURE!!! It has made too many Christians complacent and
many are sitting around waiting for it to come. I believe it is coming, but not
the way it is taught today, and many are not preparing for it to come, I
believe it will come sometime during the Great Tribulation, or after!!! Jesus
is coming for church dressed in white, and most of us are not preparing
ourselves to be clothed in White!!!
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall
be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book
of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
I am very careful in what I read today, that is
written by our modern Christian book writers. I much prefer to read the books
that have been written years ago when men and women authors did not have such a
mixed combination of thoughts, and when our Christian men and women with their
writings, were in parallel with the Scriptures, or close to the Scriptures.
Good Fruits come from reading and watching TV that matures our mind in Christ.
Over the years many have leaned to their own
understanding, and not to what our Scriptures have taught, also not seeking The
Holy Spirit, what is right and what is not right in what comes into their mind.
I have noticed over the years that when someone
new comes into the church, some of them shares their thoughts on what a
Christian should or should not be, when a new person comes to the church they
should be learning from the elders of the church, and not teaching or sharing
their thoughts, what they think is right. I have also noticed that some of
their ideas have been accepted, and so this is one of the reasons our churches
have become weakened by this practice over many years. Some of the Fruit gets a
rot in them.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Many Christians have got caught up in the occult
without realizing it, such as Freemasons, Halloween, Harry Potter, and many
other non Christian groups, and even New Age, which seems good until one knows
what is behind their policies.
