~ Life is in OUR Mouth ... (Pr
Isn’t it great that God has given us the power in our mouth, to
choose life, or to choose death, what a privilege God has trusted us with. GOD HAS EVEN GIVEN US THE WORDS TO SPEAK THAT WILL
GIVE
Isa 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I
have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and
lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou [art] my people.
Are we speaking the Words that God has given us to speak and are
our words cancelling out our words that we pray.
WHAT ARE OUR WORDS SAYING TO US, AND TO GOD! Remember our words
have power, and what we say we become, not only that, where we are at today, is
because of our words. Our mouth can sing praises unto God, which will lift us
up in our spirits, and bring us into God’s presence, or with our mouth we can
moan and groan, which will bring us into condemnation, and despair.
Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the
meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O
LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the
LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your
fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the
Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the
LORD.
It is our choosing to whom we will serve with our mouth, the God of
our father Abraham, or the father of lies, deceit, and despair. Our
words will either pull us down or they will lift us up, what words will we
choose today that will come out of our mouth. What comes out our mouth we will
do it
Psa 49:3 My mouth shall speak of
wisdom; and the meditation of my heart [shall be] of understanding.
Deu 30:14 But the word [is] very nigh unto us, in our
mouth, and in our heart, that we may do it.
Will our words be stout against God, or will our words be in
agreement with God, and what He says in His Word, that is our Holy Bible. How
often are our words stout against God our Father, when
our words should be in agreement with Him, and His Word. If we want what God
has for each and every one of us, then our words have to be in agreement with
His Words. Many time we do not realise that our words are against God, but from time to
time they can be, especially if they contradict His Words.
Mal 3:13 Your words have been stout against me,
saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken [so
much] against thee?
Isa 59:21 As for me, this [is] my covenant with them, saith
the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy
mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor
out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for
ever.
Pro 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Jer 21:8 And unto
this people thou shalt say, Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
Pro 10:20 The tongue of the just [is as] choice
silver: the heart of the wicked [is] little worth. Jam 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little
member, and boasteth great things. Behold,
how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
Isa 59:21 As for me, this [is] my covenant with them, saith
the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy
mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor
out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for
ever
1Jo 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word,
neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Psa 138:4 All the kings of the earth
shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the
meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O
LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
If only, --- if only we spoke the words God has given to
us to use, how much more our life would change, and how many other lives we
would have an effect on by speaking out the Words of God.
God says; Jer 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts,
Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and
this people wood, and it shall devour them.
No wonder
Pro 6:2 Thou art snared with the words of thy
mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
Job 8:2 How long wilt thou speak these [things]? and [how long shall] the words of thy mouth [be like] a
strong wind?
How long will we, that is you and I speak out words that are
negative to God’s Word, how long will our words be in opposition to the Word of
God. When we allow ourselves to let God put His Word in our mouth, He
then covers us with the shadow of His hand
Isa 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I
have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and
lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou [art] my people.
God is not a respecter of persons, so if we want what God has for
us, then we do have to follow His instructions. If we do not know the voice of
God then we need to take a look at ourselves and find out why. If we do
not hear, and know the voice of God then it is our fault, not God’s.
Act 10:34 Then
Jhn
10:3 To him
the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and
he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
Jhn
10:4 And
when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know
his voice.
Jhn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
