Giving God Thanks In All
Things
Ivan Pattison,
Eph 5:20 - 5:21 Giving
thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Being in praise and in union, with one another is
very important. Are we thankful as we should be!! Jesus has done so much for
us, He gave His Life for each one of us, and even before that, God gave us His
Word, and gave us His Word for us to pray, and receive answers to our prayers
much quicker, how many of us are taking this wonderful advantage that God has
given to us.

I remember in a Bible Study/Prayer Meeting at a home
in Newcastle NSW. many years ago, where a chap said he wished he knew what
words God used, to bring this world into being. I didn’t know then but I have a
good idea now, as we are told in book of Genesis, what God said to bring about
this world into being, and the life in it.
God in the beginning just spoke words of life into
this world, no big deal, so we should be speaking words of life into our own
situation.
Did you know that Life is in the Power of the Tongue,
and behind the tongue, is our mind, and our heart, and what we think, and what
is in our heart, is what is happening in our life.

Our health and sickness are in the Power of the
Tongue, our prosperity is in the Power of our Tongue.
Isn’t God great, that He gives us words of Life to
use to control our situation. We should be in continual praise for His goodness
is everlasting.
Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Neh 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the
fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is
prepared: for [this] day [is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the
joy of the LORD is your strength.
Psa 35:28 And my tongue shall speak of
thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
Psa 44:8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise
thy name for ever. Selah.
Psa 71:8 Let my mouth be filled [with] thy praise [and
with] thy honour all the day.
Psa 119:164 Seven times a day do I
praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
How can I add to what King David has already written
for our benefit, and what he was experiencing.
Who can add to King David’s praise, and rejoicing,
that he experiencing before the our Lord, and Father God!!
Psa 145:2 Every day will I bless thee;
and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Isa 12:4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD,
call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his
name is exalted.
Psa 113:2 Blessed be the name of the
LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
Ecc 11:1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt
find it after many days.
As we speak out the Word of God, it is as we cast our
bread upon the waters, Jesus being the Word, and the Bread of Life.
We have so much to be thankful for, as God the Father
has given us so much, and if we have so little then it is time we found out
why.
Jerry Savelle has a saying, and he has written a book
on; "If satan can’t steal our joy then he can’t keep our goods". Jerry
Savelle, also has teaching tapes out on this subject.
God has given to us Scripture to combat sickness,
financial loss, and many other things, such as anything that satan has stolen,
or is stealing from us, and making our life hard, and God has given us a way
out of all of our problems.
Hbr 10:34For ye had compassion of me in my bonds,
and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye
have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

If satan steals from any one of us, we have the right
to take back from satan sevenfold
There is a chorus that says; Praise is the
order of Today, and it should be, and each one of us loses so much because
Praise is not the order of every day.
