A New Season for God’s Timing

When is it God’s timing for things to happen? Then if God has a timing for things to happen, then why pray?

Why not then, just let it happen! No, God wants us to use our powers, He has given to us, to make things happen by using His Word. He then says; I will hasten my Word to perform, that is what we are praying for using God's Word to do.

Jer 1:12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

God wants us to put His Words in us, so we will in some way have the same mind as He has, and start thinking the same way as He thinks.

1Cr 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Phl 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
When we do it God’s way, then we do have a better chance to receive answers to our prayers.

Mat 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with "His word", and healed all that were sick.

Here we have "His word", from KJV of the Holy Bible, and "A Word", from most other versions. Whether we use "His Word", or "A Word", it was Jesus that spoke "The Word" that cast out demons. Let us take thought here, that Jesus had to cast out the demons from them before He could heal them. It was then that Jesus was able to heal the sick. I personally, might even say; "The Word", maybe even the Heavenly Word was used by Jesus, and if we choose "The Word" (the Heavenly Word) from the Holy Bible, we might see things change so much easier. When I say "The Word", I mean the appropriate word, from the Word of God, for whatever we are praying for. To do that we sometimes need to come before the Lord, and ask Him what is the appropriate Word or verse to use.

There is a word, and verse in our Holy Bible for every situation we are in. This is interesting as I was not going down this path of thought when I started to write, but as I was writing, it came to me that it was after He spoke to the demons in the sick, with "His Word", or "A Word", they fled, and He was able to heal the sick.

I think the Amplified version makes it much clearer to me.
Matthew 8:16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick.

If only we would use the words Jesus used, and the words, God the Father has given to us to use, in the Holy Bible, we would achieve so much more in our prayer life, and the timing of God, might just be, that much different. I wonder in this case, what that word was, it would be interesting to know, wouldn’t it. We call it God’s timing, but I remember many years ago, that I was believing for something special, and the Holy Spirit spoke to me, and said; it is up to you Ivan, how soon you receive the answer to your prayer, and it is so true it is up to us, how fervently we pray, how dedicated we are to the cause that God has given us.

Jam 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man, here we have three ideals that God harkens to, (listens to), that causes Him to hasten His Word to perform, and that is, firstly a "righteous man", then a "fervent prayer", becoming an "effectual" prayer.

Effectual = producing or able to produce a desired effect, effective, efficient, productive.

It is up to us as individuals, how quickly we receive answers to our prayers, and how effective and productive, are our prayers.

We can always have New Beginnings, doesn’t matter how much of a mess we have made previously we just have to set our mind on the future, and on positive things. We must never look back, and if we continue to look forward, we will advance in a positive way, but if we look back we will go backwards.

This will bring in Newness of Life, a change, a reversal of the past, a go ahead attitude, as long as we include God into our life, with prayers, and reading His Word.

Every Season will become a Good season, and a productive season, and we all want that, I am sure. What do you think God is saying to us today, if we do not know there is one place to go to find out, and that is to His Lord, as that is where God speaks to us from. If we have not made any good changes this year, then "Today is the Time" to make positive changes.
