PATTISON’S PERSPECTIVE

LIVING THE CHRISTIAN WAY

Christian living certainly is the best way.

Jesus calls us to be holy, and Christ likeness.

Leviticus 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I [am] the LORD your God.

1 Peter 1: 15 -16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Zechariah 40:20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

I love the verse HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD, and I always have imagined whether right or wrong the bells being made of gold, reflecting the purity of God.

The way of total purity, holiness, seems to many so far away, seems like purity, holiness are always out of reach, as much as many want them, and of course that depends on how much we want them in our life, and for our life.

We can never achieve purity, holiness without us being dedication to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and our dependence on Him, and our oneness with Him.

I grew up in a church that taught and believed in Holiness, and in Sanctification, but as I saw it, not many achieved it.

Matthew 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

I ask the question? Have you and I found real Life, have we found Holiness? Have you and I found the Resurrection Power?

Jesus wants from us to forgive others!!!

So much sickness comes from our unforgiving ways, from resentment, and other things that separate us from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, sickness always follows unforgiveness.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

It is a big problem that is; forgiving one another, and being in unity. We sometimes think we have forgiven, but that is not always the way it is. We need to make sure we have forgiven, and one way to do that is to go to the person that we need to forgive and apologise.

Unity is so important for us to have peace within.

Psalm 133:1 [[A Song of degrees of David.]] Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

I haven’t had many opportunities over the years to lay hands on the sick, but there was a time I laid hands on those who were sick, and they were healed.

Jesus wants me to witness for Him and about Him

Jesus wants each one of us to be used by Him to heal the sick and raise the dead, and this takes a lot of faith especially to raising the dead.

I am not yet at a place in Christ, in raising the dead. Jesus wants each one of us to be used by Him to heal the sick and raise the dead, and this takes a lot of faith especially to raising the dead.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Love and Blessings

Ivan
