IT IS STILL THE WISE MEN & WOMEN WHO STILL SEEK JESUS
Ivan Pattison,

MAY I ASK YOU HAVE YOU REALLY MET JESUS?

Have you ever met Jesus
The anointed one of God
The healer of our scars
That sin has left behind

Have you ever met Jesus
The one and only perfect man
He wept for me He wept for you
That we might be in paradise as planned

Have you ever met Jesus
The one who died for all
He rose again to be with God
And lives forever more

I have met Jesus
As I bowed my head
And asked for His forgiveness
At the cross of
Calvary
Where my sins were taken
and cast far out to sea

Have we met Jesus, and do we have a real relationship with Him? It is so important to spend time with God, and be one with Him, and have Him as Lord, as well as Saviour.

I have heard so many times "I have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour". Now when each of us have said this, have we really accepted Jesus in a real way as Lord and Saviour, have we?

I am not too sure I have met too many who treat Jesus as Lord, for when we do, then we want to serve Him as a Lord.

Jesus then being our LORD, then does this mean we become a servant to Jesus? Yes I believe so. Now how many are there of us are given over to being servants? Jesus was at times a servant, but He never served man but He did serve His Father, and in serving His Father, man benefits from Him serving His Father.

He was first of all a Son, of His Father God, and then a servant to His Father.

Let us take a look at Benny Hinn, he is a servant of our Father God, but Benny is not a servant of man. Benny being obedient to our Father God, then we as men and women benefits from him, because he is open to the Powers of God flowing through him.

Jesus has made us many things "in Him", ("In Him", is mentioned 122 times in the KJ., version of our Holy Bible). One thing is that we are a servant as well as a child of a King!!

Let us take on being; a child of a King, as well as a servant to God our Father, and we certainly can do this. A child should be obedient, and learn from our Father, and believe in what He says, and yet I find so many who do not know or hear God the Father speaking to them.

My sheep hear my voice; John
10:27
Not hearing God from His Word, and not hearing God from our heart, both are very important.
God often uses what part of His Word we have in us, to talk to us. If we do not have the Word of God in us it is that much harder for God to speak to us.

Over many years God has spoken to me through His Word as well as through my heart, and this is why I know of the avenues He uses to speak to His people.

There are many ways God speaks to us, but these are the most popular ways God speaks to us, through the heart and through His Word.

When my family left me, I might not have had much of the Word of God in me, at that time, but He spoke to me with the verse of Scripture; Zechariah 4:6 Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit,.

This stopped me from using force to go after my family. Today God would not have to speak to me in this way, but He does speak to me about other things.

Have we really met God, in His Majesty, in His Glory, in His Fullness of Power!! These are the ways to really meet God, and then we will know we have been with Him.

To be a child of the King, is to learn from Him, in His Love, and not wait for Him to chastise us in our ignorance, not hearing or knowing what His Word says for our life. To walk with Him learning from what He says, and what He has said from the beginning of the world

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Prov 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Prov
1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Prov
1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

HAVE WE, THAT IS, YOU AND I, HAVE WE REALLY MET JESUS? If we have, then we will also have His Love in us, rubbed off from our encounter with Him. If we do not have His Love for the unlovely, and if we do not have Love in us for our fellow Christians, then we need to look at our relationship with Jesus.

Love Ivan
