JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD!!
Ivan Pattison, Australia
Psa 119:160 Thy word [is] true [from]
the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments [endureth] for ever.
The words thus saith the LORD occur in
the KJV 430 verses, including 413 exact phrase matches.
I will ask here, when a word came from the Lord, was
it Jesus the Word that gave it? Or was it an angel that gave it?
"example"
Jer 26:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the
son of Josiah king of
Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.
1Jo 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we
have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and
our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
We each one has handled the Holy Bible, so is it that
we have, and are handling Jesus, when we hold our Holy Bible?
Do we have to separate the "Word" here, the
spoken word of Jesus, and the Word of God, which is Jesus?
The Word was in the beginning, and the Word was with
God, and of course this is Jesus, He was in the beginning with God the Father.
He is, He was, and He always will be the spoken Word of God, He is The Word,
whatever way we see it or hear it.
There are far too many Scripture to put in here to agree
and support that Jesus is the Word of God.
Jn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God.
Luk 1:2 Even as they delivered them unto us, which from
the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
The written Word of God is Life, Jesus is Life, they
are one, and we have Life everlasting, when we put the written Word inside us.
We need to take in the Word, and it will come out our mouth
Deu 30:14 But the word [is] very nigh
unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Jn 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth
my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall
not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
So many say they have accepted Jesus when they really
haven’t, they have only accepted Jesus legally, and for those who are sincere,
that will be for a time to receive Jesus (The Word) into our minds, and into
our spirit, (heart) for when we accept Jesus, we need to be accepting His
spoken Word, otherwise we really haven’t accepted Jesus, as we say we have.
Satan has deceived the Church in many ways, and now
we have a muddied (soiled) Church. We have over the years have accepted the
legal status of the Word of God and have not concentrated on the practical side
of what God is saying in His Word.
I first learnt the difference between "legal,
and practical" about this, over thirty years ago from Bob Mumford, from
listening to his teaching from tapes.

The word of God must abide in us, if we are going to
be ready for the coming of Jesus, and caught up with Him!!!

Amen, and amen, do we, or do we not need this kind of
Word spoken into our body today, as there is so much sickness among us.
Jn
Once we have said we accept Jesus, we must at all
costs, continue in His Word, and we cannot afford to get lazy and watch TV,
unless it is for the news and the TV Evangelists.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and
judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded
for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped
the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their
foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.
If only all our Missionaries had the Word coming out
their mouth as they should, we would see so much better results, and they would
not have suffered, or be suffering as they are. We have to use The Word to do
warfare against satan. Remember Jesus walking through the crowd that wanted to
throw stones at Him, and He walked through the midst of them, that is the power
we need to have in these last days.
