Hello
((((((((((((Family-of-God)))))))))))))))) and blessings from the beautiful
state of Washington. This month we are enjoying the good side of “unusual weather” - we are having spring weather in autumn; our bushes
and flowers think it’s time to bloom again! J I expect that will end shortly. There is such uncertainly in
the world today: every day the news carries the latest stock-market drop and
the list of banks and businesses that have closed their doors – it’s truly
hard to locate ‘good news’ today.
Banks are foreclosing on home-loans, people are being laid-off, and costs are
going higher every day. We can see how easily the Scripture “…people
will die from fear” could be fulfilled. Well, THANK GOD FOR JESUS!! As a
believer – the world’s financial system is not our source. The thing we need
to keep in mind is that no matter what things look like today – our Heavenly
Father remains unchanged, and He is
not in recession! If you are
not use to leaning on Jesus, and trusting HIM to pay your bills, or find you
a job with thousands out-of-work – this may be a difficult adjustment for
you… nevertheless, trusting Him is the way to get
around the rocks you run into on the path of your life. “My God shall supply ALL MY
NEEDS, according to HIS RICHES in glory, by Christ Jesus” (Phil
4) is a Scripture written for just these moments in time. The
state of affairs in the world today didn’t take God by surprise, and He is not
sitting on the throne of Glory wringing His hands, trying to figure out how
He will rescue His children. He knew this time was coming, and His plans, and His Promises haven’t changed. God doesn’t
change; He is “The same yesterday, today and forever.” And “His arm is not too short to save His people.” He knows right
where His children are, and He knows just how to reach you and how to meet
your needs. When we have no answers, your FATHER DOES! When we have no
resources, your FATHER DOES! He is not lacking in anything, and He still
delights in giving good gifts to His children. Some of you may remember the
old André Crouch Song: “Through it All”…
Verse 1 I’ve walked the road of need,
more than once in my life-time, and I can honestly say that my Father has
never failed me, never… not with the
smallest need, or the biggest mountain – He always comes through!! The problems that you may face today,
or tomorrow - never come from Your Father, but it does give Him opportunity
to show His
Strength and His ability and His resources – to take care of the problems you
face. No matter what comes your way – TRUST HIM!
He can’t fail!! If you are in need, and have
to trust Him at a greater level than you ever have before – then you will see
His grace on your life, greater than ever before. God still moves mountains, He
still parts the red seas of our life – and He still plants money in the mouth
of a fish. He can do ALL THINGS – in you, through you and for you. It’s time
to simply TRUST GOD in all things, stay inside of HIS PEACE – rest
there, and watch Him work. If you think back over your
life, if you’ve known the Lord personally for some time – you will see that
He has never failed you. Right? He’s always had an answer, and He always
came through. Often not the way we try to dictate to Him, and always on His
own time-table, but He never fails to do what He said He
would do. Amen? You WILL get past today, and
through every situation… it is our choice, daily –
how we will get from point A to point B. We can rest inside of His peace,
trusting that God will handle it, and that His plan is a good one; or we can
go stressed and worried and in doubt. We choose how you will walk this road. Remember all that He has done
for you, and praise Him for those things. Turn your mind toward His goodness
and every time the thought of the problem tries to interrupt your
thanksgiving – turn quickly to the goodness of God, and rest there. Let’s agree together in prayer: Father-God,
thank You for being faithful to Your Word, faithful to Your plans and
faithful to Your children. You said that You deliver us out of all trouble,
Thank You Father; thank You for the promise of peace, even in the middle of a
storm. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking us, and for never turning
Your Face from Your children. We trust You Father, and we roll all our cares
over onto You, and trust You. We will leave our cares with You, knowing that
You will cause our very thoughts to be in agreement with Your will. We know
that our plans will be established, and we will succeed. You supply our
needs, and You are our strength; we turn it all over to Your care. Holy
Spirit, You are our helper and our Teacher – please help us to stay inside of
Peace and to trust God in all things. We pray this according to God’s Word,
and in Jesus Name – knowing that You have heard us and have answered today.
Thank You Father for Your faithfulness. Amen
